There is a modern day saying that there is always a crazy person on a bus and If you never seem to see a crazy person when your on the bus then, you are probably the crazy person. I think this applies to people like the OP that complain that the MM is so bad. They complain mainly due to, I would assume, being matched up against better players and tend to blame the other players (as indicated by previous posts from OP). However the vast majority of people don't seem to have this problem and win and loose games in equal measure. Therefore it stands to reason that it is primarily due to your presence in the team that results in a higher then normal amount of lost games. Also getting high K/D and highest score in the game does not mean you are not the reason the game was lost.

This game as opposed to most games is designed for team play. Even as a Pug (which I am exclusively till now) the greatest skill is reading your teams actions and complimenting them, not purely aim and reaction times. If you are getting high K/D and low W/L you might just be playing the wrong game. I suggest something like COD, not to slight that game as I have played it for several years, just saying that it might be better for people such as the OP that might prefer to gun for the enemy and **** everything else.

I would also like to directly talk about OPs other reasons for quiting. CW is far from perfect? Yes. But I would think that as it was just released on an FTP game that generally, and in MWOs case certainly, means that we will see a lot of changes in the next few months that will improve and further balance the product. CW sucks for PUGS? Maybe. It was never meant to be for pugs however so its kind of besides the point. That is like a single player gamer buying CoD or BF and saying it was a rip off because the campaign was short (and ****), they are just missing the point as it is primarily as multiplayer game and hence the focus is infact (shocking I know) on multiplayer. Having said that I do believe that we might see the CW experience improve for PUGS also.

Lastly, in relation to the idea that the game is hard for new players...That is kind of the point isn't it. It's a high learning curve game. If it was easy for new players it wouldn't be the game it was meant to be. The vast majority of players, I think, enjoy the complexity and would probably like more, not less. I do agree that PGI can maybe add a que for new players that only allows players that have been playing below a certain amount of games but personally I don't think its really that necessary. I do think a detailed and constantly updated manual would go down well though.

So I posted this mainly to share my opinion on this matter. To the OP, if he reads this, I say...nothing though I do truly hope not to see him in this game ever again.

Man I loved that game,was an Elder Jedi on Ahazi (shoulda sold the account when I had the chance lol).The op does have a point about the mm/elo system.It's just awful.It punishes you for getting better and is ridiculously hard/complicated for new players (the ui,tutorial is a joke etc).
As for leaving the game,have you given away your stuff yet?

I've stopped playing for a few weeks until MM gets better.

Kinda like a little girl hitting a little boy and being mean to him because she has a crush.

This game has so few players losing one person is terrible. And befor you respond think of how many people you've introduced to this game recently that have stuck around. I know personally I'm 0-6 plus 0-5 when the game first started. Some where people that enjoyed playing BT. Everyone of them has bought at least 2 games after quiting. Its a shame.

always love the people who blame everyone and everything else..... because usually when it is always someone else's fault? It usually isn't.

MM seems to put people on swings..... when you Elo gets high, it matches you up to try to bring it down, and you are likely to lose a lot. When it's low, it will feed you chumps, and you should win a lot.

To bad so many have dumped this awful game but its the DEVS fault for not listening to the Old gamers that knew what was fun about MechWarrior from the older PC MechWarrior games and implementing it into MWO.Instead we got a lame FPS with tard controls no joystick support.Lame game modes half asss maps and a progression system that goes to know where but unbalance and stomps in matches.

But the worst part about MWO is CW the long wait times 15 min+ per try coupled with boring as helllll game modes and no Social atmosphere makes it a total loss.I understand why you uninstalled OP and im very close myself after PGI/DEVS will not even make MWO fun and fresh.MWO is just another lame asss FPS in mech skins and it looks like that's all it will ever be.

Please let the door hit you on the way out, Flaming. Every game I was stuck with you was eye-gougingly painful. And I know I used to, and still do, whine too much, and you were too much for me.

No surer sign of a loss than someone begging everyone to get hold locks for them at the beginning of the game. And I won't miss the inevitable whining after you died every time that it was everyone else's fault. The only thing worse than an idiot, is an idiot who thinks he's a genius. Equip a tag and get your own damn locks, I took top 10 in Kintaros with a Tag and LRMs, so maybe I know a little bit about them.
