Recently I have found that my solo pug drops have changed.

I now routinely get 3+ kills, or cap multiple points, but find the rest of my team has accomplished nothing.
My W/L has gone from 1.3 down to 1.1 in very little time, while my K/D keeps climbing.
In 3 matches recently I have had teammates apologize for being "new to the game".

Have I found the legendary ELO hell?
Is this the source of the CarryHarder meme?
I thought that we are grouped with similarly skilled players.

the problem is 90% of the skilled players are in CW so the Elo gap is getting bigger to make the games

The answer: Eventually, you get used as fodder to "balance" a game by sticking you in with newbies/mouthbreathers and find that you've gone from "credit to team" to "carry harder".

Win lots, be rewarded with scrub team, lose until MM gets bored and puts you on the stomping team vs. the stompee, repeat.

New players that are used to lazy console gaming where no effort is required other than spamming the fire button. I helped a Twitch streamer the other day who had no knowledge of weapon grouping, how to hit R and read the enemy paper doll, or that all the functionality of the game can be found on the keyboard binds in settings. 10 minutes of coaching and he had a 3 kill, top score match. This is a fail on PGI's part end needs to be remedied. The juvenile tips messages that run before a drop are useless ie. grouping with friends is an Awesome way to win, ect. A mandatory tutorial is required or a split que where new players must drop at least 100 times before being unleashed on the public que.

As a member, I would like to say:

Welcome to the "carry harder" crowd...

There are PUG buckets over there, and in the corner you can find varying types of harnesses used to carry the pugs up mount tryhard. I recommend the harnesses with a strap across the chest as well as the shoulders because it more evenly divides the load, but many prefer other kinds.

I find the bigger your bucket is, the slower you carry, but you carry more at once...so bucket size is crucial for you to figure out.

Maybe you've been focusing on improving personal skill instead of winning the game, which is fine except that you're grouped based on win/loss rather than kill/death.

It'd be more obvious what you might be doing wrong in a standard MOBA.

Or maybe you're right and you're just too good for the matchmaker to find anyone else on your level. Really, the matchmaker rating should be a public stat.

Something has changed in the past 3 weeks or so. I have experienced the exact same issue.

Im sorry but people cannot be this bad. Hell I've even posted about them being bots because they behave like botss and not like humans.

No human would simply walk into 1v12.
