Logic and facts are the antithesis of ragers. I should know, I ragequit 3 times before I settled down.
It's also human nature to remember the bad things that happen to you far more than the good things. Has anyone, ever, come home and said "wow, this driver this morning totally let me into traffic, it was really nice of them"? And how many times has someone come home and said "this ******* douchebag totally cut me off this morning as soon as I tuned my blinker on to change lanes!"? They remember it, and dwell on it, and stew in it all day long. But when a kind driver lets them in, they only have a momentary "huh, cool" and forget it almost instantly. Human nature; my guess would be it's an evolutionary learning mechanism. Burn your hand touching a hot stove and it helps if you carry that with you for a good long time and remember it and learn from it.
As much as ragers complain that they "always" lose, if they posted their W/L records, (or even ever looked at them), they would probably be around 50/50, as the game is meant to be. Again, I would know

I did have a fairly terrible win/loss when I first started (as most do), but it gradually worked it's way up to near .500. But I was still bitching that I was losing all the time even though by the time I hit 1000 games played it was with 50 games of being even. I briefly got over the hump and had about 10 more wins than losses before the MM gods decided I was getting too full of myself and taught me better
Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. And hate leads to.....
the dark side. (we've got a ninja smiley, where's the Jedi smiley!!)
