You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I’m an easy target. Yeah, you’re right, I talk too much. I also listen too much. I could be a cold-hearted cynic like you… but I don’t like to hurt people’s feelings. Well, you think what you want about me; I’m not changing. I like… I like me. My wife likes me. My customers like me. ‘Cause I’m the real article. What you see is what you get

Son... (I called him son), I talk to much! You have barely found out how to string words together. (NOTE: referring to the disparity in posts between us). Saying what you think is not always an attempt to hurt someone's feelings, but an indication that you say what you do, do what you say, and prove it. It's also been my experience, it is better to prove you can take an insult by actually taking the insult, then joke about it.

Also if taken "literal" "What you see, is what you get." You are an E-book. Cause all you are is words on a screen. ;)

For Future Reference, Your Wife LOVES you. If she LIKEs you she's just a roommate. I'm Married 26 Years now... That takes love, not like.

Dude, that would have so much more profound if your handles last name just had an extra "d" :)

P.S. But be careful or you will get labeled a White Knight for being overly positive. The Dark Knights (cynics) really do not like that at all.

No, this will only figure out some bugs who occur during regular play, its not entirely covering good testing at all.

but for some real tests you would have to meet in an intentioned match where both tisdes truly test specific stuff. Like are weird positions where you cna stuck, or be untouchable.

with the current playstyle the regular battlestuff is causing this either to appear randomly with luck, or not at all.

crazy stuff ;)

And there is no reason that 2 x 12 man's couldn't do just that. Both simply discuss and decide on a currently empty Planet, then drop as the required 24 and then decide what they will Test that drop. Most players/Teams just want to KILL enemy Mechs, be it for C-Bills or E-Peen rights. Hell, the killing of each other could be the set for the final 10 minutes of any Testing sequence. :)

It will also be very funny indeed, the intense QQ and Tears that will be seen/heard on these Forums, when all of the "Tryhard/E-Peeners" work to reshape this "Beta" version of the I.S. Universe gets RESET, shortly after what PGI determines is/was enough Data collection time, despite that "every one of them" knows it is going to happen.

But you do have to admit there are some who want to shame the opposing view into silence. But most MWO players are grown ups who don't cave to intimidation or shaming tactics. ;)

There are, and there always will be. Shaming, for as nasty and unproductive as it is, is quite effective in the real world. People who use it in RL seem to think it will work online. But it doesn't, it just pisses people off. You would think the shamers would learn.

I tested it, it was so bad I have no urge to do anything further in this mode they currently have. Scrap it, start over. I will not waits 40-60 minutes of my life at a shot, just so they can have more metrics on the current CW. Rebuild, try again, and I will. Untill then, sorry I'd rather play solitare with 51 cards.

Maybe you should queue with some other people, I've never waited 40 minutes for a match in CW.

Yeah the numbers for CW have been steadily going down since release.

The main issue is ......... .12 mans / 8 mans - teamwork is OP I say that and I'm not joking.

Until voip is introduced for the pugs beta or not I cant see CW pulling a serious crowd the groups will repel pugs hard.

Sorry mate, I've been playing CW and having fun.

They fix issues as we report them too. The only things that really bother me are a few map related issues, like getting stuck and falling through the map, or some people being able to walk over the wall.

If you, and your unit is involved in CW, please do us ALL a favor.

STOP PLAYING CW. [please note, I do not mean leave the que's]

You are not ment to "Play" CW currently. You are ment to TEST CW. that is why it's in a "Beta" Phase

Yes, please, test, complain, bring the issues to the table, but now is not the time to invest yourself into actively "PLAYING" Community warfare.

in Playing, you're investing the effort to actually achieve an end goal. You're not trying to break the system, you're not trying to game the system. When you play, you're doing what the majority of players are doing.

And that is the wrong mentality to have currently.

we have 1 mode, and 2 maps, that hardly counts for even an expansion pack. which is why CW is still in beta. Look at it as the beta test of the new MWO expansion Pack, they're TESTING these new modes, and we'll get new content every monthish until it's in a stable state. [which it clearly, currently is not.]

So to all of you who are crying, and complaining that CW is broken, or that it has issues... well no shite sherlock...

yes, yes I know, "it's beta" has been played out 2+ years ago. Trust me, I WAS THERE. But, given that this is under 6months delvopment time for what we currently have... I'm fairly impressed, and we HAVE to give them time to polish this. yes, they released at a bad time [holidays] and we haven't seen an update in near a month, but think of the metrics they can pull from the servers in that time!

Please guys, don't stop queing in MWO's CW mode, push it, participate in the TESTING of this new mode! WE NEED THE Testers... please, stop being a player, and be a TESTER!

2 months of development.

Wow, OP has a point. That having been said, I agree with the poster who gave the example of the card-game where the 'elite' kept bugs secret for their own advantage ... I feel like our game has lots of people who would fit into that mentality.

OP says break the game. It broke alot of mechwarriors already, they went to other interest. Some of us have gone thru this before, trying to hang on and see if anything can bring interest back into this game. Many have known and played tabletop before internet. All we have done is wait for new content or wait for the fixes to problems that were seen, but now the boredom has set in, and their concern for the community and a game that always been in beta, it lacking.

When you test drive a car you run it through its paces in public streets, maybe push it a lil harder and then leave it be.

You don't drive it into a wall at 60mph.

That's the kinda stuff that you should leave to the factory.

No. It broke the wannabes! MechWarriors have the fortitude to keep trying to break things and report them. :P
