At least now I don't have to hesitate anymore. Charge forward, and glory to the victors!

Lose 2 guys on your team? Probably won't win this one. Suicide, disconnect, find a new match.
Do you have 1 kill and the score is 3-0 or 4-0? Your team will probably win no matter what. Suicide, disconnect, find a new match.
60 matches that alll 15 minutes amounts to 15 hours of play. If they all last 5 minutes, that's 5 hours of play. I'm talking about hours of actual play time, not including waiting for matchmaker. If you include CW matches, the time required is just through the roof, probably about 20-30 hours of play.

CW might help alleviate some of the stress of only having 12 possible kills per pug.

I don't have one because it was a Pop-Tart staple for so long. It was a favorite of the "I use this to Win because I can't win with normal Mechs" kind of players.

I used it originally as a 2 UAC 5, 4 ML brawler until the Ilya came along. I killed many a Mech with the CTF-3D! Then I adopted the Gauss/PPCs since I started to play competitive and it was a must-have Mech in RHoD which basically forces you to go meta or go home.
Don't hate the meta, hate the lack of balance back in those days!

Scoring at least 1 kill AND 1 assist is easy when you're on a friendly team, but later on in that weekend there were a lot of guys gunning for kill stealing. The 30 point mark is also a bit much.... going to take up a whole weekend again. But good luck to those who do try.
My prediction is that instead of cowering and hiding for survival, people are just going to suicide and quit... so the result will be the same: Potential victories will swing to a loss because everyone looks out for themselves.

When I PUG my win/loss is more typically 1 to 4. So that'd be 120 matches for me ... matches full of LRM Assault boats standing at the back stealing kills from the fighters up the front.
I am opting out of MWO for the weekend. I enjoy challenges, but not when they add additional derp to the drops.

I'll be lucky if I can get the premium time.
Nice event for the good players though
