Until I see a screenshot claiming as such, 228 did not have any organized group on the planet Luzerne.

Our group was on the Clan Wolf planet, The Edge defending against FRR forces.

You may of seen a straggler, or individual, but again, 228 did not have any organized group on the planet Luzerne.

228 has been pretty solid for a bit now, enjoyed dropping with you guys. Also I was dropping on the DC world this morning with 228 guys so I know they were attacking but can't speak to defense.

Now its is war!
From now on GCGB will only fight versus CSJ. We've been fighting all day to regain control over our planet Luzerne and won almost all the fights. Shortly before Ceasefire about 50 members of CSJ started defending the planet and took it back so that we did not win the planet. Involved were members of units [228], [-AS-], [RSJ], [19th], etc.......

For GCGB Clan Smoke Jaguar is now Dezgra.

[sarcasm]So let me get this straight, you claim our mercs (who we have said cannot be controlled) defended the world, and now the whole Clan is dezgra. Yup ok, got it. [/sarcasm]

I understand you are pissed at having your work wiped out but that does not make any CSJ factional unit any less honorable. Also if you were working on it all afternoon then why did you not have it at 100% so they couldn't snipe it from you without you noticing in time?

Yes, units defended it.

Myself included.

Why? I have no way of telling if GCGB speaks for all of GB when they start attacks in earnest nor whether you will stop or not.

You (CGB) did not return Santandar from the early days of CW, why would I assume you would stop at Luzerne or any world in our space.

Most ceasefire-alliances reach across the aisle to discuss how the return of a planet will go, not simply blindly initiate attacks without warning.

If you work with the standing CGB groups to orchestrate things, Smoke Alliance is willing to listen. If you do not, we assume you have gone rogue and defend ourselves. We don't know you guys. Why would we assume you are "good guys" at this point?

Hail,

Not Clan Smoke Jaguar, however the Smoke Alliance is coordinating with other clans. With QQ & 228 switching sides and trying to destabilize, it will leave a soft spot for one of the Clan Corridors.

Mercenaries should not be allowed to join Clans, this is a failure in Community Warfare planning.

Personally I am really enjoying the Thai Massage associated with taking all the Kurita Territory (maybe that is why they switched sides).

Seyla,

I'm sure all those solo droppers are an easy feast for you guys. Have you came across an coordinated groups there? My unit stopped participating there because every time we win a match and get back, we see the attackers have two more ticks. Kind of pointless for us. The patch yesterday may have changed things for us though.

When the leader of a unit declares war on you and your holdings it is probably best to talk with them, don't you think?

I think Lukoi Banacek responded well and with honor for both the Jaguar and the Bear.

Actually came across several coordinated pug drops using your public TS and they put up a hell of a fight last night. Made it interesting. Looking forward to hopefully seeing more fights like that...

Khan Wolverine of GCGB, it would also appear you are not following the attack plan posted by your own faction members, and as such your faction failed to secure any of their objectives. Instead it would appear you were looking for easy glory by attempting to claim a planet with hopes of no defense.
Congratulations Khan Wolverine, you failed your Clan twice in one go.

This makes no sense trothkin. We have established that mercs CANNOT be controlled. You cannot blame the original Smoke Jaguars for what some merc unit flying their sigil has done.

I have the perfect solution:
You guys, you know who you are, go CGB and take back the planets that you took from CGB. Then once they are in your hands, switch back to CSJ and retake them for CSJ. Keep doing that back and forth until Beta is over. This way you get to play the game your way, we play it our way, and everyone is happy and can have some cake.

Mmmmm....cake....

My thanks Jaroth Corbett.

Yours is a voice of clarion clear reasoning that cuts directly to the heart of the matter at hand.

This latest instance of friction still emanates from earlier (and now thankfully concluded) military adventurism. Further misaligned efforts by short-term contracted elements temporarily flying the CSJ Banner simply will not occur given Unit Leader, statements currently on record.

And because of all the very many constructive, thoughtful and genuinely insight-filled comments provided by thread contributors such as yourself, LB, QueenBlade, Mickey Knox, and so many others; this thread (in balance) now exemplifies the value of both Key Leader Engagement between Units to iron out meaningful compromises and a phased resolution as well as forum transparency to ensure there is meaningful dialogue, discussions and discourse, OPEN TO ALL and serving as a guidepost for Unit Leaders when reaching across the aisle.

"Going Dark" and uncommunicative on these forums about this topic would have been very counterproductive as so very many of true legitimate comments would have been lost among all the flames, innuendo, duplicity and mistruths that are always going to be a component of a forum's foundational function of giving voice to any who care enough about a topic to type a response. There will always be great value to be found when a free exchange of constructive comment is possible.

Get both sides of a topic out here in the light of a great PGI Day, and let our fellow gamers decide for themselves just who is in the right and who is only catering to self-serving interests.

It is what I enjoy so thoroughly about our game's forums, sure there are always flames, but peer through the smoke and the adamantium core of the argument does come clear to the vast majority of vocal as well as silent viewers.

I can live with that...

I can work with that.

All BS aside, at least there is passion for the game and players who are willing to play it on every side...got to respect everyone for that.

All your petty arguments is invalid in the face of reality. And the reality is this: the only planets that CSJ gets to attack is Kurita and/or CGB. Every time a Kurita planet gets to 100% attacker wins the IS simply gives up defending it (and trust me when I say there are more non-Kuritans than Kuritans defending it).

As we all seem to be taking this roleplay business seriously, the only planet left to attack is the CGB one. Get over it. Either play the game or not, your choice.

Choosing to honor an agreement with CGB to secure a border and best position BOTH Clans for the drive on Terra IS "playing the game." Just not playing by your expectations or rules.

Quiaff?

Besides, adding an eventual (and hard won!) border with Davion is part and parcel of the drive on Terra. At the moment ALL Clan paths to Terra lead through Davion Space.

Adding Davion 12-man Teams into the mix with the already exception Kurita teams will ensure GG for many months to come.

Terra is only one goal along the Clan Invasion path...

FIRST TERRA, NEXT NEW AVALON!
