And he will probably still fail. That thing needs to run atleast 130 or something (just a wild guess) like that to even dream of viabilty. Not 32.
If the top speed stays below 130, this thing will need quirks that make the TDR 9S cry in shame to make it viable (well, atleast considerable). Like 100% quirks.
They might aswell just sell Urbanmech skins you can slap on already existing lights, because after being buffed to viablity, there won't be much "urbanmech" left in this mech besides the skin.

I expect the urbie to be an escort for Assault mechs, also expecting some heavy ballistic quirks for the walking turret.

15% faster cooldown for all ballistic, 15% faster cooldown for AC20/AC10/LBX10
15% increase range for all ballistic, 15% increase range for AC20/AC10/LBX10
15% increase velocity for all ballistic, 15% increase velocity for AC20/AC10/LBX10
Torso Turn Rate(Yaw) 50%

What are the chance of urbanmech's warhorn being R2-D2 beeping sounds?

Well, good news, if you decide the thing like engine rating or quirks aint enough, you can refund it. I don't foresee it knocking the FS9 meta out, but if it can hang and do PUBBY drops? good enough for me.

also----98?

Well, I am now proud to say that I am OWNED by Urbies. Collectors Urbies at that.

I have a feeling that these little guys will form a key part of my CW defensive drop spreads.

If the engine limit is under 180, I think I might plan to pull out my 2 ERPPC + 2 Gauss Whale on April 7th, just to be a douchenugget...

Imagine the urbie surrounded by Direwolfs roundhouse kicking the **** out of them Chuck Norris Style!

Chuck Norris doesn't Torso Twist. Spacetime bends around him.

Any fool can score well in a Timby! I like to take a Summoner, bone stock and take it to them. If I lose, well, I nee to get better. But when you whup the heck out of some metahumping "1337" in a "non-viable" mach?

PRICELESS.

*sigh*

I can't believe that people are still going on about the Urbanmech. Moreover, I can't believe that the constant bleating for the Urbanmech to be added to the game actually changed the minds of PGI.

At this point, I am sure, everyone is fully aware that this mech is in no way, shape, or form going to be competitive with what we know about the game mechanics - which is likely why it wasn't even really considered to make an appearance in Mechwarrior Online.

I just find the whole situation ridiculous.

Yes, I paid the 40 bucks for the Urbanmech package. Pfft. The things I do for this game.

Hi,
My name is Fiona Marshe. I captured my first urbanmech back in the War of '39. Cute little thing. Only cost me $40 to repair.

Long live the Urbanmech!

So I was talking to a friend last night who also plays MWO, though not with the frequency I do. He is also a long time TT veteran of about 25 yrs. I told him they had released an Urbie pack and that I had purchased the $20 pack that if he wanted one, I could gift him one.

His response: "Eww."

So I used the money to upgrade my pack to the CE.

Take that Rush Maguin!!

yet oddly people make the kitfox work. Huh

The Kit Fox rocks once you get over cramming every hardpoint with weaponz. Mine I ran ECM and a single ERPPC. Put up consistent damage ~500 per match. Not epic, but considering the source. It is a fun little mech. The Mist Lynx, oh man, even funner.
