I vote for a Sammy L Jackson ******** betty.
I knew there was a BT term for this cockpit voice/vocal interface/whatever. I remembered it was "something-betty," but you got bitchslapped by the curse filter right there. Was it b4da55 Betty?
There was another one too. Ten million internets if someone else knows it and posts it here. I think it was "something-susan," but can't remember.
EDIT: I also really liked the voice in MW3 (BTW - this is one of the only forums where people know what MW3 really stands for. (hint: Its not Call of Duty))

Aff, the nomenclature for talking cockpit systems is the beeching betty. Primarily because all of the companies swore that men listen to female voices more astutely than a males.
Obviously none of the engineers were married.

Sensors: Online -- thought: still sounds right
Weapons: Online -- thought: still good.
All Systems: Online -- thought: wait what? that isnt right. then I scared the hell out of my cat and screamed: All Systems: NOMINAL!

Wonder if we need to start a KICKSTART page.. No better yet have PG start a kickstart page for donations to get her. That way if the fans truly want her they would all pitch in. I bet it would take 3-6k to do all the stuff. Not sure on cost exactly.

except he would say it slow and deliberatly and by that time the enemy would be half way across the field. I also dont want some one talking a mile a minute just to get going. MW2 had the perfect pitch and tone and speed.
yes, PG needs to start a kick start page to raise funds to get her onboard. BUT i bet they already voiced in some one and they wont pay more to replace the audio. They would have to pay for the new voice. Then pay devs to cut in the new voices and make sure they fit in. Not to long or short.

While Mr. Cullen may BE Optimus Prime, he is not the original actress of our beloved computer voice. No offense to my Transformers hero on this, but this is one case, where Prime is not needed.
Does my mech look like a *****? Than why are you trying to **** it like one?
I haven't laughed at anything online that hard all year! If someone played that sound file during a battle, I'd lose control of my mech.
I'd like the default voice (Aura) from EVE Online' date=' but I don't think that will happen. [/quote']
You mean the second version? After they gave us a hint that it was "a voice we might know" I recognised who it was. I suppose it would be alright if she was doing voice, as long as she wasn't driving:
I have to agree with a poster in another thread that George Takei would be an excellent option as well.
(This forum has some ui issues, quiaff?)

Also I think the best thing to come out of this thread is the idea for additional voice packs.
I would love a very verbose Carole computer that talked a lot.
Would totally throw money at my screen for add-on voice packs.
