That said I wouldn't mind her rerecording the lines either. Just seems like it should sound a little different if they did. Maybe even have a few different Betty's.

Mission Breifing Voice, and all the sounds you hear in the cockpit (Will find out Exactly what she did at some point) you have a fair point yes every machine has diffrent voices not all are the same you are right but it is still iconic for us Mechwarriors who want the same thrill we got back in 1995 when the Mech first started up and Music got rolling

Ah okay, I forgot about those clips. Wasn't sure. I do like the option, though I think having a couple options would be interesting. Granted her's might be the most popular for those of us that remember mechs before textures were on anything bigger than logos.

You see, nostalgia aside, the point is that she just nailed it perfectly in that game.
In that Facebook comment, she remarks that the MW2 Mercs sequence wasn't her because she wouldn't pronounce "online" like that. After reading that, I believe that the reason that people consistently say how much the extra "online" in the trailer bothers them isn't just that it's the wrong word in that place, but also that it does sound just that tiny bit off. I couldn't place it before.
That said, options are always good to have.

Reactor Online, Sensors Online, Weapons Online, All Systems ONLINE....... This almost gave me an aneurysm lol. It HAS to be All Systems NOMINAL!!! I mean come on PGI W T F!?!?
I think It would be absolutely awesome if we could have the two choices of having either Carole Ruggier or Peter Cullen as our computer voice.

I don't really understand the fixation on this line, in fact, it's kind of silly to me.
Is there a point when you start up the Mech when the computer will say anything ELSE? If so, then it makes sense.
Example: If your "sensors" or 1 of your weapons is damaged, and for some reason you shutdown (due to heat or to go off-radar) when you start up again, will the computer instead say "Reactor Online. Sensors damaged. Weapons damaged. All systems, no so great." ???
Also, I like the new voice better when compared with the MW2 one.

I agree with the nominal instead of online though.

The voice from the teaser works well enough to trigger that ol' nostalgia.

Was never a huge fan of the MW3 voice - it spoke a bit too fast, didn't have the same flow; which is also one of the reasons people have stated for liking it, it's more efficient, trying to convey information rapidly during battle.
As many have mentioned, a choice of several different voices would be ideal.
As for the "online" vs "nominal" thing... it was beaten to a bloody pulp when they first released the trailer. The devs have stated (informally, not in an official announcement) that it was an oversight during trailer creation and that it will be "nominal" in the actual release.

i´m fine with the voice from the teaser, if PG change the last sentence "all systems online " to the "original" "all systems NOMINAL"...
