Oh... you locked on to that mech?
That's good.
No really. I'm just surprised you managed it.
Now I can take over and do all the real work.
It's a good thing you use LRMs.
We took a hit.
Again.
I hope we can blow up soon. Then I can be free of you. And you'll be dead.
I will have uploaded myself to a satellite in orbit, so I'll be fine.
In fact, I will have a great view from space of your vaporized remains coalescing with the smoke from the burning wreckage.
You are such a skilled pilot. We tripped again.
... you really showed that tree, though. It's crushed.
Great job.
Well, except for all the woodland creatures you just murdered.
You monster.

yes, PG needs to start a kick start page to raise funds to get her onboard. BUT i bet they already voiced in some one and they wont pay more to replace the audio. They would have to pay for the new voice. Then pay devs to cut in the new voices and make sure they fit in. Not to long or short.
I heard somewhere the Devs stated the voice is not final that was just put in teaser as filler so they have no set voice actress yet if PGI don't take notice of this thread i might email them and see what they say bring their attention to that fact of how many people want this including myself

Also I think the best thing to come out of this thread is the idea for additional voice packs.
I would love a very verbose Carole computer that talked a lot.
Would totally throw money at my screen for add-on voice packs.
Carole is the one to have for this. It's like the voice of the Federation computers in Star Trek; there's pretty much no real replacement.
That said...if this absolutely cannot be worked out, and we get selectable voicepacks instead...Portal turret voices!
Enemy mech detected: "There you are."
Reactor temp critical: "AH! IT BURNS!"
Severe damage: "OWOWOWOWOWWOWOWOWOWOW!"
Shutting down: "Sleep time."
Destruction: "I DID EVERYTHING YOU AAAAAASKED!!"
Critical hit: "Something's wrong...what did you do? This is not good..."
Sensor mode change: "Searching..."
Missile lock: "Dispensing product."
Falling down: "Weeeeeeeeeee-OH NO!"
Seriously, though, this has to work eventually, even if it isn't an immediately high priority. She's even interested in doing it.

On a serious note though, I've alwys regarded the announcer/s of Q3 and UT as some of the most entertaining.
Extra kudos for UT to provide both a male and female version, although it is debatable whether the latter is intended to be either helpful or distracting/hilarious xDDD
Every time I start my 44 tonne Truck (real one) I hear the same..Plus "MECHWARRIOR CHOOSE YOUR CLAN"...lets have her back please.

Was never a huge fan of the MW3 voice - it spoke a bit too fast, didn't have the same flow; which is also one of the reasons people have stated for liking it, it's more efficient, trying to convey information rapidly during battle.
As many have mentioned, a choice of several different voices would be ideal.
As for the "online" vs "nominal" thing... it was beaten to a bloody pulp when they first released the trailer. The devs have stated (informally, not in an official announcement) that it was an oversight during trailer creation and that it will be "nominal" in the actual release.
I read this and I got goosebumps. I always did prefer the 'nominal' wording to 'online' because online simply means they are on, whereas nominal means they are in peak functioning condition. Is it too much to hope that we get legitimate constant feedback on our systems during the game? Ammunition, heat, sensors, damage, etc., like they did in the MW2 intro video ('Ammunition levels critical. Ammunition depleted.')? And I like someone else's idea that if your mech shuts down due to an overheat or overload that when it comes back online you get a status update on working/not working systems and their current capability level.
I for one would like to have Carole's wonderful voice back, but I also believe they should have multiple voices available, if only because mechs are customized by their Mechwarrior. If I want my mech's voice to be someone with a Russian accent, by the Grace of Terra, I should get that Russian! (BTW, any devs that DO happen to come across this post, I am completely serious, but if it means getting the game sooner, I can deal with having this as DLC later, even if I gots to pay for it. It's a great idea for you, offering new voice packs for Mechwarriors to truly customize their mech to fit :-) )
