Except that nominal has a different meaning than online. Online simply means the system is on ... it doesn't mean it's working as expected. Nominal meanwhile implies that all systems are online and working within expected parameters.

Also, why do you need the computer to tell you "All systems online" when you've just heard the startup sequence declaring each system is (individually) online?

But it still reports all systems nominal when powering up despite critical damage.

Only if she speaks faster. The MW2 computer would be announcing things 15 seconds after they happened because it was still in the middle of announcing something else.

I think getting the MW2 gal to do the voice work would be a great example of continuity within the MW franchise. It would be one of those things newcomers talk about. "Did you know the mech voice is the same voice that was in MW2? Pretty cool!".

The voice in the teaser trailer is fine but like many others have said its All systems nominal! All systems online just hits the ear wrong!

I was hoping it was her in the teaser trailer, I was really saddened when i heard all systems online instead on nominal let me tell you.

MW2 was my first computer game and I played it to death, It's super nostalgia each time I hear it I really hope they end up getting her to do the voice overs even if it's an optional switch between the new voice and hers.

Yes please! I know its not really a biggie but its just the nostalgia and a tip of the hat to the gamers who played the originals.

Just like how I had to replay that trailer three times because I couldn't quite believe they used the word 'online' instead of 'nominal'.
