Carole would be the best! or maybe whoever did MW2:mercs - those two are easily the two best in the series

Well we know Carole voiced both Mechwarrior 2 and GBL even though the start up for GBL was replaced by a boring loading screen telling you things like Planet and Temp which i felt took you out of the experience and felt alien, but it was a diffrent voice actress who did Mercs i've no idea who it is and we will probably never know all we know is the most iconic Mechwarrior Voice ever is Carole Ruggier and we want her back

May Majel RIP, we will never hear her sensual computer voice again. We got very lucky over on STO that she was able to finish her voice work on the game before her death. But, you are absolutely right, not to have Carole as our Voice Actress would be blasphemy.

NICE RESEARCH OP! I personally don't care and think the voice from the trailer is fine. But um, great job dude! Perhaps we will get the original voice back! Now, we need Jeehun Hwang for music!

aside from the voice not being right in the trailer, there is a serious issue with the prompts.

Weapons... ONLINE
All Systems... ONLINE...WAIT...NO! should be NOMINAL.

I have to wonder if the reason they did this is because the game's called MechWarrior: Online, not MechWarrior: Nominal.

MWO or not, they need to stay true to what has come before. We are a bunch of fiery geeks on this stuff. Just one of those things that needs a little polish.

I like the original but I don't see any reason why there can't be options for either for those that do like the new voice, for that matter, I'm sure there's some who might like a male voice too, though I certainly wouldn't be one of them

they did say after those of us who caught it said something, they did say they were going to tweak it back to All Systems Nominal.

costs alot to pay a voice actor/actress to do this. Carole said she did hundreds of prompts and what not for MW2, so, you would effectively triple it to have 2 female voices and a male voice.

of course it does, I'm just saying it's nice to have options, in spite of various comments unless the original actress is willing to do the work for free (unlikely) it seems rather improbable that they'll be willing to pay to rerecord the lines they've got, that said, as long as we're asking why not ask for the kit and the kaboodle? XD

lol. I know she wants to do this, as to if for free, no idea. But, for my money, why not add in William Daniels too? For those of you guys who have 0 clue who I mean, think either KITT from Knight Rider or Mr. Feeny in Boy Meets World.
