Shouldn't it be Role Play not Roll Play? Role Play is play a role, or character. Roll Play is tend to be used dismissively in regards to people who don't actually play characters but instead play numbers on a sheet and the dice.

No matter how you look at it, the situation has 2 main problems:
1. CGB forces are too large.
2. IS forces are not fighting Clans, and barely even putting up a defense.

It's essentially the same thing that happened earlier this month when all the big comp teams moved to IS, only we as the Clans are the "big mean organized teams" this time. The IS has simply given up. Jade Falcons and Wolves actually have the luxury of having teams that defend against us, but Ghost Bear/Jaguar don't, so if CGB or CSJ want to continue playing CW matches that aren't ghost drops, their only options are other Clans.

And it isn't just us either. CGB and CSJ have been having some feuds and skirmishes with each other as well. The main difference is that CSJ has nothing to offer CGB on the other side, whereas through us they have 2 more factions to potentially open an attack lane to.

Sane. Reasonable. Uses logic. Deduces correctly the variables in play and the consequences, and see's how the tables were flipped when majority of the comp teams were IS. Accurate. And posts without coloring it all with RP. Are you sure you don't want to come Ghost Bear Aresye? It might be a better fit for you! We appreciate folks with the traits you are displaying! Wolf is lucky to have you.

The only thing I don't like about it, is how it suggests only two sides, almost as if there is just iterations on two basic cultures fighting it out over time instead of the various tribes, religions, cultures that have really played out the conflict. Otherwise it is pretty epic in it's sweep of a land plagued by battles. Tragic indeed. Maybe if they had MWO:CW at the time they could have settled all the issues online and in forums.

Aresye has always been the level headed one it seems... It really lands in the hands of PGI to move these variables to make the environment competitive and most importantly, enjoyable. Right now we're pretty far off from it. Especially if you are in Kurita :-)

Seems to me like all partisans are of steel resolve in the matter. One could say everything is settled, in a manner of speaking. Delta will fight, CWI will be patient and watchful. The maw of the Ghost Bear will carve Wolf territory to get within the reach of the Jade Falcons claws. The field seems rather set.

Actually ((as I mentioned in my post)) Roll-Play is a negative term when used by Role-Players. It tends to refer to somebody who doesn't actually do any Role-Playing, but just is there to roll dice. An example might be where as a Role-Player who wanted to flirt with a barmaid might describe what his character is doing, come up with a witty line, and the like... A roll player would do something like...

Roll Player: Is the barmaid hot?
DM: I guess...
Roll Player: I'm gonna seduce her. *Rolls Dice* 17! She's totally going to do my character.
DM: ....
