I partly like this type of challenge and the scoring metric for it, especially the win condition is good because it forces people to actually work for a win rather than just farming the other requirements. I hope PGI continues to include a win requirement in their challenges.
30 points for one weekend was too harsh a grind for my limited skill level, but over two weekends i found it ok. I think I got about half the points each weekend.
What's interesting about these challenges is that they show you that you may not be a consistently good as you think you are. Getting damage in + winning often is probably the best measure of performance. The only improvement I'd make is to change the kill + assist requirement to 450 minimum damage and 2 "Kill most damage dealt", since that would prevent the cheap points you currently get from matches where you just happened to get a lucky killshot even if you didn't actually do a good match. With that kind of harsher requirements to score they could lower the points needed to 10-15, with each point feeling like a real achievement without unacceptable grind.
Another interesting challenge might be "duelist" where you'd need 2 solo kills in a match to score a point, and 5-10 points needed for some nice reward.
I actually think some challenges could have harsh enough requirements that most players simply aren't good enough to score a point, it's not a challenge if everyone can do it just given enough time. This time I knew it was just a matter of playing enough games, I didn't have to push myself to score points because 1+1+win is just what happens every third game or so. It would have been more fun if the requirements was a lot harder, so that only in my absolutely best matches I could hope for a point, but with only 5 or so points needed. That would have made me focus fro some intense playing rather than just putting the hours in. I think for some challenges it should be very hard to score a point with only a few points needed, and some others could be more like this one that has relatively easy scoring. (and with slightly less points needed) And some could be stocking stuffer events that are just free goodies. A nice mix.
