Actually, that's true that Smoke Adders have been permcon with CSJ for quite some time. However...we have other units (2 actually) played by the same people. So, no it's not a lie that we took a planet in IS-Trial Mechs once before already.

The dumb thing is we have had a border with Steiner for DAYS and while they have always been able to attack us we have yet to be able to attack them. This along with the CJF wormhole into the middle of FRR territory is what effectively cut us off. I can not remember the last time we were able to attack an IS planet....it was early in the week sometime.

I think most of the testing for CW is the algorithm.

The problem with this is, we CJF never actually cut Wolf off, the algorithm gave us a jump into FRR space leaving FRR planets between us and the FRR planets we took that we left for Wolf to take. There is a spot for Wolf to attack Steiner however the algorithm has denied Wolf a chance to attack those planets.

Yeah, I don't think CJF was making an aggressive decision when they took that opportunity. There were still plenty of planets for us to go around their territory. But it never gave them to us, until all of the planets were gone. And we've had a clear border with Steiner, but the game doesn't recognize it exists...

Which I feel is a major problem, the fact it hasn't recognized the border you have with Steiner. With any luck the next patch will fix that issue without screwing something else up.

Yeah, that algorithm is another bizarre construct of CW. You should just be able to click a world that borders your system and be able to drop there. It would be way more tactical than "You can only attack this one world, and even though you're Clan, and your goal is to get to Terra, we're going to send you waaaaaaaaay over here instead."

If everyone could click on whatever world they wanted on their border, then the biggest factions would be taking 30 worlds a day from smaller factions.

At the moment no worries about that from CJF our targets in steiner space lately have been deeper into it than that area.

As nice as that would be I have to agree with Davers it would open it up to where huge groups such as say MercStar, one of the largest units I know of, could end taking so many planets because of how big they are that smaller factions would be all but annihilated within a few days.

Really? I've had some back and forths with Jaroth Corbett in another thread and he seems to be very knowledgeable about the Lore, and willing to listen to others when they explain their point of view. Pretty much the exact opposite of a troll.
