Victor: Yea most folks forget about the heavy decline in technology on the outer planets away from the core worlds and capitals. Its one reason I like the crossover between Firefly and BT.

Happy to see the new folks signing up XD. Make sure to hit up the roll call thread in our forums as well as registering. We're going through a bit of house cleaning at the moment.

I've seen around 15 or so people online regularly, and when open beta hits, we should be around 70 or so if the sign-up are anything to go by.

So far, everyone I've talked to has been a great laugh.

We're not military, we have no real structure, we're just about getting a bunch or people together to kill some big stomping robots.

You'll see us online with the [BnI] tag, ask anyone of us as you see us and we'll tell you about what we're about. You could also drop over to the website (http://mwomercsbrowncoats.webs.com/).

If you see me around, I'll even let you in on my secret builds :(

Firefly fans.... got to love them.

If you watched the show when it was accutally on TV it might have lasted a season, or more... show of hands who here watched the show when it was on the tele?

Now a show of hands who fell in love with it once it went to DVD?

Now a show of hands of who saw Serinity in the theater? (which cost 39 Million to make, and only grossed 38 Million world wide box office)
Yes money was made back on DVD sales, but if you want a show to keep going you have to watch, and when they give you a way to put your money where your internet mouth is, you do it. People did not watch Firefly on TV it got canceled, DVD sales were great, triple the TV veiwing ratings, that got it a movie.... ""fans"" did not show up for that either.

Unfortunately I'm one of the many that did not find out about Firefly until after it was cancelled. You can't paint us all with the same brush. A friend of mine more/less dragged me to see Serenity (I had heard nothing about it and was skeptical of western in space), but after watching it in the theater I fell in love and then put my money in. Too little too late I'm afraid though.

We were in formation, and my remark about the Duchess was timed perfectly with the Commandant calling a silence for the speach..... might have been ok, if the media hadn't caught it on the mic........

Damn Commandant.... he was so Davion, he squeaked when he walked...... never saw two butt cheeks so clenched at all times in my life.... that boy was more in need of a paid lady of the evening, as any man alive.

This may not be the Alliance, but when has a browncoat ever turned down a good war?
Seeking fans of the Firefly 'verse, if any are to be found.

What is a browncoat, is there meaning to this or is it all in the name of a merc corp? I looked here and here on google and they seemed to be the best results that I found.

Shiny!

I've already joined a Merc group, but I may throw in a second character once open beta comes out and join you guys. If I had seen you guys before I joined the merc corp I'd be there already.
