Dear PGI,

Thanks for the bonus / sales incentive. However, since these mechs can't be sold for cbills or otherwise exchanged there seems little point for someone who already has them to spend additional funds for a additional copies.

A more thought out incentive might have allowed folks who already have duplicates to sell them or perhaps offered them something equivalent but different.

Gotta agree with the sentiment about doing something with duplicates. I'm all for free stuff and grateful for it, but I have absolutely zero use for duplicates. I have other Centurions, Atlases, and King Crabs for other builds. If people wanted duplicates of these they could purchase them since they're available to all now. Don't have a problem with giving one set of Loyalty mechs to people who missed it, I just don't particularly like the clutter in my mech lab of having two of each.

They're great mechs. My favorite King Crab and Atlas variants, and the Centurion's pretty good, too (though I personally prefer the Yen-Lo-Wang, D, and AL variants). But with almost 100 mechs already I'm never going to need duplicates of these.

Okay this upsets me. I bought every pack spending some 500 bucks and got my rewards. Now all someone has to do is spend 40 bucks and they get all three? I dont care that youre selling them for cbills but this is just a bit of a slap i the face in my opinion. Pgi thjs is highly uncool of you. I do not like people crying/complaining about a F2P game giving the community free content and do GREATLY appreciate this effort as almost nobody would have noticed if PGI let their anniversary pass uneventfully. PGI is trying to do a good thing here, so be careful in our criticism of it or they may learn not to give us anything!

The issue here is trust. I do agree with those who cried fowl when PGI broke our trust by recycling these "exclusive" loyalty rewards which would "only be available through our MechWarrior Credits/Pre-Sale/Top Tier Reward program" to anyone willing to throw $40 at the game now.

Now that they have offered this, I doubt they will rescind it. The only other thing they can do now is reward their MOST LOYAL investors more appropriately considering they are the ones who got the largest slap in the face.

No thanks screw that. MC I can get anytime, gimme the damned mechs.

It is free, guys. Just accept that. If you do not like it, fine, but do not complain about it, we already get enough of that on these forums as it is.

As for myself, I am totally fine with having duplicates of these 'Mechs (and all I had to do was buy the UrbanMech pack, which I did for my love of the little trash can ) so I can run two different builds without having to constantly change them! (In particular, the King Crab, now I can have both the 4xAC/5 AND a 6xMG build for the lulz)

wondered how long before we heard from the "i spent more so I deserve more" crowd. Way to show how the phrase wallet warrior came to be.

Personally, and as one who also spent more, its there anniversary gift. They can give it to who they want. Frankly, if they choose to give it to.... gasp ..... free players as well, I would have no problem with that.
