I really don't need/want doubles of these mechs, if we do get these mechs, can we sell the doubles and get C-bills?

Okay! I usually dont comment on forum but I wanted to express myself in case that PGI would be reconsidering this depending on numbers of unsatisfied players.
At first I appreciate that you appreciate us, the paying customers. I totally dont care about recycling "exclusive" mechs. But I dont like this idea of getting something I already own. I dont need duplicates. So if PGI would do something with this I would be so happy Lot of good ideas like theese already was on the forum:
- make it sellable
- make players , who already own theese mechs, choose another variants of mechs... for example other version of atlas and so on
- MC award
- for players who own theese mechs, we will get the mad dog invasion variant!! that would be awesome! but I also know that it would be bad for players who already own mad dog invasion variant but you can simply make it to let us choose something!
Okay.. thats all, you now know, that loads of players would appreciate "to do something" with this I hope you will solve this and we will be all happy... I would rather get 1 mech I dont own than 3 mechs i got

this is where they changed the mechs to have the "L" designator.
the rewards post (first entry this thread) says "L" will be given out...

We may be getting the camo versions? but I read it as the "L" versions...

The King Crab we received in December is the (L) version and is evidently not sellable, and definitely doesn't allow a camo change, just colors. The Atlas and Centurion have (C) designations however, and act the same way. Others have confirmed that they are not sellable either.

What boggles my mind is the history behind all this.
In September, people were all like, “I’m an IS elitist, I’d like my own package so that I can be eligible for the King Crab, too!”
So PGI goes through all the effort with voting for the black knight, creating the website, picking mechs, etc.

- People who bought the $120 Resistance pack BEFORE Dec. 16^th, only got the Norn King Crab.
- People who bought the $120 Resistance pack AFTER Dec. 16^th, gets ALL THREE NORN MECHS.
- People who bought the $40 Urbanmech, gets ALL THREE NORN MECHS. (Making the Resistance pack out-cry for the King Crab in September redundant. IS elitists only wanted a pack specifically to be eligible for King Crab. Lol, Urbanmech purchasers get triple the rewards for 1/3 the cost. GG IS Elitists! PGI took your $120 and ran with it lol.)

While this anniversary sale is generous. The eligible packages, the history with some of them, and the rewards they’re offering are conflicting.
I’m not sure what they were thinking with this one. But ok. I’m trying to roll with the “It’s a nice gesture…” But it’s tough, given the list of all the other possible options that doesn’t create conflicts…

I have purchased every pack (except Founder, which I still kick myself everyday about but money was tight back then and I didn't even have a gaming PC built yet).......I also bought the Urbie just shortly after it was announced.

Frankly, I couldn't care less if new people now get the "special" mechs I got. Good for them, the KC and the Atlas S are really good mechs, the Cent is....well....a Cent.

Why would them handing out more mechs make mine less useful or fun?

I agree though, while duplicates will be ok and save me some time swapping around KC builds it would have been cooler to get something else if you already received the previous rewards. LMAO at whoever suggested a Gold Urbie.

PT, an injection of MC (or even Cbills), a special camo pattern or something all would have been neat.

$40 for the Urbanmech package, and then including these 3 mechs, is a pretty good deal for someone out there. That's $40 for 6 mechs/bays and all the other stuff you get with the urbanmech package

for us who have the 3 mechs the could

1. unlock the Skuld, Urd and Verdandy for all (L) mechs.
2. give all King Crabs the Skuld camo all Atlas the Urd, and all Centurions Verdandy
3. unlock the Skuld, Urd and Verdandy for ALL mechs you own
4. do not use the Norns but use some clan standard mechs like the Vixen/ Incubus, Hunchback IIC (although in current time line it dose not have 3 variants) or some of the next Omni mechs like the Linebacker, Pouncer and Phantom and for the camo use the Greek goddess of fates the Moirai.

Back in December I bought the Man O War Pack mainly because of the reward King Crab, and now I could have gotten it alot cheaper and end up having duplicates which I dont need.

I would prefer that they not re-use the existing Norn variants. Those were special variants given out for specific reasons. Part of what makes them cool is the fact that not everyone has them, nor can anyone else get them. Except now they can.

I'll happily accept an extra copy of each Mech, but they just won't be as special any more. At least now I won't have to keep switching my KGC-000(L) back and forth between 2 x AC/20 and 4 x UAC/5.

I'm rather happy about this sale, now I can buy the remaining Clan mechs I need for CW leaving the remaining IS mechs to be purchased with c-bills. This will really help cut the grind down in half plus save me some $$. Thank you PGI.

then again, as just as many have posted, i would trade all 3 of the (L) mechs you give us (which would be all duplicates for me).
for 1 single new (L) mech.

it didn't even have to be whole new variant like when you brought out the Atlas-S. just a mech with one of those fancy Camos. maybe sprinkle a new quirkset on top. that's all i'm asking for.
