any particular reason why a 40$ package is equivelent to the founders/overlord/masakari/man-o-war? why is this even an option? Don't get me wrong, Urbie isn't quite the issue (not sure why we needed it) but being worth a top tier package? Seems kinda silly to give all the promotional stuff for at least half of the cost of the original requirement for a top tier.

Also, I think I should be mad about urbie buyers being considered top tier, but then I remembered they're getting an Urbie... so I think it balances out.

What I find kinda sad is that people that bought the Wrath pack after the atlas was available, but before dec 16, won't get the Atlas... I don't want to spend more on this game right now, but man, that Atlas is sweet

it made me buy the urbie pack that's why, they wanted my $40. Don't forget a brand new triple aaa game is $60, spending $40 for some mech+stuff is a decent chunk of change.

IT's a ****** URBIE.

I love the urbie. He's not heavy, he's my brother. My slow, dim, super strong for his age little kid brother with a 10AC blockknocker that he is known to haul off and bean you in the beanbag with and run away giggling like a little troll. that's the urbie. And you get 3 of them, love those little ******** to death. But they're not a 6 mech 12 mechbay deal, so you give some incentive to go top tier on that by including them in this anniversary thing. I thought it was pretty obvious, and fair to the folks who couldn't participate before. I mean other than that, all the urbie has going for it is collector's item urbie-love from urbiefans like myself....

But of course someone found something to be upset about. So Yes. Yes Really.

I guess Urbie 40$ pack sales were lower then expected, so some attraction should be made. To spare the labour, PGI threw in some stuff that has been already made. I have my doubts about Urbie 20$ pack, but i am definately not getting 40$ pack to get those 3 bonus mechs. Just my 2 cents.

I don't think PGI expected much sales for the Urbanmech to begin withwith, that's why they never made it earlier and why the minimum requirement for a "go to production' was so low.

PGI is making this mech more for fan service than profit, they just want to do a bit better than break even on this thing.

Therefore I don't think they are making the $40 pack count as top their to boost profit. If the mech didn't earn enough for PGIs liking to begin with, Russ would have tweeted it was a no go from the start.

If it will attract new players and investment in the game I am all for it. Try thinking of what will support the game.
