Surprised no one has brought this up yet, the Weekend Update for this Week shows us the sizes and walking animations of the Panther and Enforcer:

http://youtu.be/KXifvHAePYQ

The Panther is about the height of the Firestarter, but a little skinnier. Which makes me very happy. Also, it seems to walk very lightfooted, befitting its "Alley Cat" nickname.

The Enforcer on the other hand is moving rather uninspired, and is about the height of the Centurion. A bit too tall for my tastes, but at least it's slimmer. We'll have to see how that works out for the survivabillity of the iconic Davion workhorse.

Thoughts?

i honestly think we need more/different weapons, rather than more mechs.

Thanks for the link.

I think they both look very good. The animations (at least at these speeds) look great too.
Oh, and I think the enforcer looks good even with this head.
Reminds me a bit of a mix of roman centurion helmet and a Halo suit helmet.
The similarity with the Centurions chin gives it a bit of a little-brother/newxt-gen-successor kinda feeling. :P

I agree, the gameplay is pretty stale right now, mechs are just a platforms for the builds and you can already make (almost) whatever you like.

Main thing that surprised me in that video was mention of in-game VOIP coming. I've been wanting that in here since closed beta so finally getting it added is awesome, regardless of what 'mechs are comings (doubly-so for me; not a fan of lights and I only really like piloting a few mediums).

I honestly think you should probably find another game since your many posts seem to indicate you are not the least bit happy with this one.

The Enforcer looks much better in movement than it did in the preview pics.

It looks real good at night, too. And pretty much any other time you can't see it clearly.

Look man, I know you're gonna keep campaigning for changes and I'm not here to argue with you or make you change your mind but personally it looks better than what was previewed. That includes when you use that good ol' pause button to look at it standing still.

Have to agree with PowerOfNapes for this one, the enforcer doesn't look that bad on movement. It could have been much worse;

I'm happy you're happy with it. To me, it may look better, but it still don't look GOOD. I've been campaigning for this mech since CB, so you'll excuse me if I disagree with the "close enough" crowd.

Enforcer looked way better from the angles shown here.

I'm not happy with it, but I am not completly against the actual design made.
Of course it would be awesome if they changed it for better, just like the centurion and the catapult...
