Thanks for support! Just need to get Russ' attention so we can put it into action. As stated before it shouldn't be a huge task to just revert back.

Yeah just look at the Catapult reversion request thread.

I don't want to hear it.

Look at the Thunderbolt.

This is what that arm Large Laser is supposed to look like

Guess what? You are going to hear it. We paid for the YWL got one product, then had it changed. That is not the case with the Tbolt. I do feel your pain, PGI strays often from how we like to see our mechs. They could have done the Tbolt right out the get go. If they did and PGI changed it then you would have a leg to stand on (and only if you paid cash money for it)The Tbolt did not get whacked the way YWL did. Period

I don't want to hear about it. I paid for both. the BS Large Laser they put on the Thunderbolt is far more egregious than a slightly smaller cannon on my YLW

Reading comprehension must not be your strong suit. You got WHAT you were sold with the Tbolt. This is about us getting the shaft later down the road, much later after growing to love our wangs (giggidy) If you want to start a petition to PGI about the tbolt I would gladly join you in it. This thread however is not the place for complaining about it

Speaking of reading comprehension.

So no. The change to the AC/20 is not somehow you being wronged anymore than any other model disparity is a problem.

No! You fail to understand that the arm drops off alot harder now. I love my Ylw and don't care if it has a teeny weeny Wang as long as it doesn't drop off.

Not much of a cause when you are unwilling to see the larger issue. This isn't something localized to the YLW. It effects ALot of mechs in the game. That it was changed or that we paid for it is irrelevant. The issue is certain people want big cool looking weapons. We want our mechs to look badass not just the YLW. All of them.

Why not just have the arm use the old AC20 model when an Ac20 is equipped?

Dynamic weapon geometry can be both a blessing and a curse...

Mostly a curse. Can you name a single mech that looks better with dynamic geometry?

Yeah, it's nice to see the hardpoints reflect the weapons I guess, but I would take an attractive, inaccurate mech over an ugly mech that accurately shows a machine gun barrel sticking out of the Hunchback's AC20 port any day.

Even on mechs that were designed with dynamic hardpoints in mind, the big flat open areas left for weapon barrels to be glued on are painfully obvious, and never attractive. In some situations it even disadvantages the mech, like the Myst Lynx's ginormous arms.

Dear PGI,

Please restore the AC20 arm on the Yen-Lo-Wang to its former glory. The stupid box with the stupid cylinder on it it's hideous looking and just a WTF scenario no ifs, ands, or butts. Period.

There might be some hope in the distant future? Looking at the dynamic geometry on the Enforcer and Panther, looks like the laser arm ends differently than the autocannon arm on the Enforcer, and it actually looks good. Same for the Panther's CT missile hardpoints, it's pretty much the first time that I've seen dynamic hardpoints that look good, instead of some bolted on crap with a huge boxy outline.

I want the cenurion detail texture back over the cannon arm
It could be a much nicer box than what we have atm but its ok
That fugly lack of grit on the current cn9 is horrid
Yenlo is worst affected

Yep, this will totally happen.

Just look at how quickly PGI fixed the Catapult ears when the players voiced their discontent. Our Community Manager immediately notified Russ and he made his programmers fix the issue within a couple of weeks.

So things are really looking good for this petition to bring back the YLW arm.

But, but, the centurion doesn't even look like a Centurion in the first place!

THIS is what the Centurion is supposed to have for a 3D model.

Posted Image

Ok, in all seriousness I don't think you will get your wish. Just be happy they even got the gun model fixed so the thing scales properly in that last patch in January.

Overall, the new Centurion looks great.

What does that have to do with anything? If at all the new box model is roughly the same size, or even bigger since its a box now not a cylinder.

It got significant armor buff to the right arm. The graphical display does absolutely nothing other then look pretty or poopy.

BUMP FOR ACTION.

I've deleted every mech but my YLW. And I refuse to buy any other mech until they get their ever changing qurik non sense over with. I also refuse to play my YLW until the cannon is restored.

Wallets closed PGI. You've wronged me way too many times.
