I'm sorry, but imho that's a whole lot of BS.
It's because of your governments ruling behaviour that other countries are feeling provoked. The IS for example is nothing else but a backlash of the Bush terms, especially the first one.

Then there's the fact that there've been 219 wars (or war-like / agressive military acts) in 231 years the US leaded or have been involved in.
There're currently over 70 wars the USA are involved in.
The US government is going to use Germany (where a lot of their atomic warheads are stocked) and the other NATO nations (but especially Germany) as some kind of a buffer in the current Ukraine crisis for their own interests.
The US government doesn't prevent us (the world, us humans) from a WW3 or an atomic warfare, no, they rather lead us right into it!

You don't want nukes fly around, destroying whole landscapes? Good! We all don't want that ****! But there're other groups of ppl that are interested in a new great war, the gun lobby for example or central Banks. And it's up to US, the people, to prevent the world from another war.

Trust me, if we don't intervene, World War 3 Happens. Just us being weakened made Putin invade the Ukrain, ISIS emerge, etc.

You know what we are? http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Star_League

The Great Houses keep pulling their BS and we have to take it just cause.

There're a lot of different news coming out in television.
In america it's mostly against russia while justifying your governments strategy.
Here in europe we have pretty similar news, but we're also able to see the other side of the medallion and there're many things beeing told in the news about russia that are simply not true.

Also there wouldn't even exist a radical islamic state like IS when your government wouldn't have ****** up the whole Irak and Sadam Hussein thing.

what has the age of a nation to do with it? its mostly the current generation of rulers influenced by whoever that screws up a nation anyways. We should question democracy, because it hardly seems that any country really still has democracy anymore. Yes poeple are allowed to vote, but how many of those voted gouvernments actually rule for the needs of their population? most just want to stick with their status quo to ensure their own nice living.

I don't blame you and I don't have any problems with you guys. You're just victims of american propaganda.
It's a pretty difficult topic and we all should try our best to keep objectivity.

There's a reason I didn't write an example regarding the lies about russia, because I am not able to tell tue truth. And so are you, because we're all to be lied to.

But what I see is that there's a young country that wants to rule the world. This country now and then has problems with resources like oil and in general big problems with money. One option to get rid of the money problems or at least make them smaller is to create a great war. And to solve the problems with the resources it's pretty helpful to create an enemy, a leader of a country which has enough resources you're looking for. If you also rule the media, television and so on it's pretty easy to tell your people, that this enemy is a really bad guy and a brutal dictator.
But, and that's the other important thing to look at, there's another big country which is also very strong what of course upsets the first big country. So the other country has to go. Let's make the leader of this country to a bad guy. And now look what happened the last decades. Thanks to Hollywood we all know now, who our enemy is.
This is just sick.

So what's your point. Are you anti-american. I don't think this kind of rhetoric needs to be here. Thinly disguised "national" racism. People don't choose to be an American, Mexican, African. They come into this world where they are. Stop the hate. So, if this thread is on a national hate trip, here is a peace of my mind from a religious stand point. (Sorry Mods, please pardon me for doing this)

GOD MADE ALL MEN EQUAL

One man then said unto God. "He is just like me. Kill Him."
But God loved all his creations, so he made the two men different.
Then the man said unto God. "His hair is Black. Kill Him."
So God put a stream between the two men, but that did not separate the hate from the men so he turned the river into a raging river.
The man was still jealous of the other man so God gave them different faces.
Still the man asked for God to kill the other.
God then placed the men into separate nations.
Then men continued to quarrel, each asking God to kill the other whom he loved.
So God separated the men further, giving each their own religion. Some became Jewish, some Christian, some Muslim, some simply called the one and only God as they saw him, the Great Spirit. Yet still, those whom God loves, cannot find peace within their hearts.

At first I thought this was typical America bashing like I've had to put up with on so many other websites, and I was about to fly into a ragepost regarding about how much I will not tolerate that kind of sh*t here because I've had to put up with so much of it nowadays it makes my blood boil. But now that I actually read through the thread, I'm not really sure what you guys are arguing about. Is this about American "imperialism", America overstreching its military boundaries or America causing/preventing WWIII?

I'll not make the error to discuss this threads topic. I'll just hint about the code of conduct and politics, gender discussions, religion and hope the OP and all participants get the message I'm trying to transmit.

The U.S was the home of ingenuity, freedom, thought, speech, innovation, and the belief that all humans are equal. To some extent it still is.

Then, something changed. I don't remember when, but we became ashamed of ourselves and of individuality. Now we're just becoming more passive. And I hate to say it, but it's going to take something horrible to get us to wake up to the threats growing around the world.

Just my two cents.

We do not have the tech to "intercept ICBMs". You are going to get us ALL KILLED!

You said that with such confidence. This is a flying laser with the power to swiss cheese an ICBM.

Sure, it's decommissioned. But any nuclear threat and it can get back in the air at any time.

China and India are thousands of years old. "In current form" -- apparently the Civil War and New Deal don't count. Whatever. America is bigger. It Takes what it Wants. America is a Big Young Buff Male and Other nations are Smaller Females and America takes these Older Weaker Females when it wants, planting military bases and interests in them.

China bashes any religion that has a chance of making people dislike the government. India is ready to nuke Pakistan over some stupid cultural thing. Yeah, really good nations to be a world power there buddy.

America took the reigns and made itself the leader of the world. The rest of the world didn't protest. Now we have people like this who are upset that the new kid on the block actually dared to oppose their "sacred culture" or "older nations who are much wiser."

Your cultural homes (China, India, Greece, Italy, etc.) still exist. Go there if you want. Oh wait, Greece sank itself in debt, China is controlled by communists, India is still a 2nd World country (it's rising, but still) that wants to start a nuclear war, etc.

A tip to politicians: You wanna be a world power? Work for it. Lead in real diplomacy. Take the reigns and fight wars that need to be fought. Aid nations in need. Respect religion. Respect human rights. Respect equality. Don't EVER disregard science. That's a good way to fail. Develop a powerful military force should you need it. This is a fluctuating time in the world. Anyone at any time can change the course of history. And let me tell you what, when that train comes barreling by, I'm not gonna lie down and get run over or left behind. I'm gonna jump on and--God willing-- take control.

I think PaintedWolf has been eating too many mushrooms. That's the only rational explanation I have to explain such wild-eyed gibberish.

Don't call someone a druggie for disagreeing with you. Do the smart thing and present them with facts. If they refuse to see those facts, they aren't worth debating.

It was tongue and cheek humor.

That being said, a cursory look at his posts reveals an obviously unbalanced mind and disposition; debating such a person would be fruitless regardless of the tactics or facts employed. I've tried it with other, similar people before, and it is a waste of time and effort.

So, I chose to make an observation and move on to something more befitting of my time.

Edit:

I will throw this out there, just to stoke the fire a bit after I leave:

I'll leave the religious part out, but anyway you're absolutely right.
I'm sorry that one thing you got from my statement was that I'm anti american. Like I said before I don't have any problems with the american people. I'm just very skeptic about the behaviour of your government now and in the past, so am I about the Fed and the gun lobby.
