Well... technically I'm still spending money on the game. I'm secretly purchasing quite a bit, but that well is going to run dry after the next purchase (upgrading the Resistance Pack from halfway to all the way after the silly duplicate loyalty sale is over). The thing is... the location info on my profile IS accurate as at this point, I've effectively acquired the Maddog Invasion variant.
You don't think those posts on how some of the terrible Clan Mechs like the Adder and mediocre Warhawk came to be right? The grinding is atrocious if I had to acquire them with C-bills and I'd never want to use/play them again (the Wave 1 mechs that mattered were bought with C-bills the moment they were made available). If there was a "Church of Gundams", I know that I've completely sinned. The best way for me to be better for myself is to completely articulate why certain Clan mechs are bad. I don't know if that's good for you or me, but I can tell you that it's the most effective form of constructive whining or customer feedback that I can think of... and you can form your own opinion on the matter, but it is what it is.
Mind you, the $50 would go towards MC, and nothing more. IF AND ONLY IF any of them came true... then this would be a non-issue for me. Otherwise, that's likely the end of the line on spending.

Hell If Russ and company would just increase the earnings the stated amount for right now, with more content and suggested improvements to the game coming, I would of dropped the $80 on the IS pack a month or so ago. Still holding out on spending another dime on this game till somethings listed change.
Btw... as I have stated before, I have a issue with spending over a AAA title amount and only "leasing" the digital content that is provided for what ever length the severs might be up and running. Really need a game mode that doesn't require the internet to play with all the toys that I have purchased. This really seems questionable to me... I know, I am old school on this subject.

I really agree with this. 9000%
Even if MWO sticks around for another 5 years, I still want the ability to play this game without connecting to their servers. Yeah, yeah, I know it's "Mechwarrior Online", but I don't care.

A rework of LRMs
A rework of NARC
A rework of data/target sharing
Additional public match maps (bigger. Much much bigger)
Additional CW maps
Additional game modes
Complete and utter fix once and for all of HSR
Reintroduction of Rearm and Repair
Elimination of 3 mech requirement for skilling up mechs
Create different skills for mechs instead of all having the same skills.

Solaris, turkey shoot, the "territory" mode being floated about, escort, and finally a whole smattering of single-player missions and co-op campaigns.

3 easy quick solutions:
1) Fire the man who shall not be named.
2) Hire more competent programmers and developers.
3) Get the artists to actually RESCALE ANY AND EVERY MECH so that it doesn't come up on atrocious balance discussions.
Really.. it doesn't take much here.
Bonus 3:
1) Fix/improve the UI drastically to be as useful as smurfy's.
2) Fix all usability issues, including the NPE/tutorials.
3) Immediately fire the man who shall not be named.
There is just 1 problem. Money does not grow on trees.

Even the people that gripe about the game from the start know and believe in this.
Sure money doesn't grow on trees... but people not coming back to the game from decisions that affected its long term sustainability is effectively "salting/scorching the earth".

PvE content with worthwhile rewards (Titles/mechs and/ or mech parts; Omni pods, weapons/c-bills/loyalty points?).

-BTECH heat scale [ as to eliminate boating]
- Heat scale effects[ slow mech, ammo explosions, reduced radar, etc]

The game is in a great state, not perfect, not amazing, but much better than it had been.
Are there things I'd REALLY like? Yeah. yeah there are. Give me a new Phoenix II pack with the remaining unseen, and I'll happily pay 200+ for it. return of Inverse kenimatics, better damage model than the "laser burn" we have now, a 3025 game mode option... more maps as a whole [both pug and cw]
But, I have no problem spending more money on this game as it currently stands. if I had to pick what game I own that I play the most, it would likely be MWO.

That's what they'd like to think. The reality is that they're far fewer in number than they want to be, their numbers were probably replaced by new players within a few months, and half the stuff they're holding PGI hostage over is sim-snob fluff that's unlikely to make the game a lot of money.
PGI isn't limiting itself to monetizable features anyway; they haven't released one since last April (the private matches). But they've done all kinds of other things designed to do what you just said, earn players' goodwill by addressing big issues (performance, balance, CW). Their priorities are likely more dictated by technical considerations. I'd much rather PGI's design team be reviewing new gamemodes than the gorram Ghost Heat issue.
