I'm having a lot of trouble making builds I actually like and that are functional for the Enforcer. The quirks all seem backwards (the 5 energy variant gets all the energy quirks, so do I go 3LL instead of Gauss+5ML, etc). Everything seems to go against what the quirks want us to do.

Thoughts?

Nothing goes wrong with Wub, quirks be damned. ENF-4R Wubforcer

ENERGY COOLDOWN: 10.00 % + LASER DURATION: -12.50 % + ENERGY RANGE: 12.50 % + ENERGY HEAT GENERATION: -12.50 % = PURE SEX, with Jump Jets.

Do the Gauss build on the 5D, instead. ENF-5D Gauss

For the 5P, I got just the thing. ENF-5P The Dakkaist

*edit* 5D and 5P added.

I run a 4R with 5 MPLAS, 1 AC2, 15DHS, 3 JJ, XL250. I know, a single AC2? You'd be surprised how a single AC2 will make even the heaviest mechs cower down from a ridge.

Those arm-heavy builds always make me subconsciously tilt my head to one side while looking at them.

No worries, unlike the Wolverine-6K, the Wubforcer got JJs.

So far the 4R is the only one I really like. I'm running 5 MPL and an AC/10.

ENF-5D: Wub and Peace

3 MPLAS, and the LBX-10 to use the quirks. This is what I run with, gives me pulse lasers and takes advantage of quirks.

Swap the ACs to the other side, since you can. Will help convergence with the ML a bit as well as give you a shield arm side.

My builds?

ENF-4R - A left handed mech! 2LL, 3ML, all on the left side, and a standard engine to give you a shield side on the right. Lets you corner peak with every weapon, you have a high mounted LL for peaking, and a JJ for maneuvering. Runs fairly cool with quirks.

ENF-5D - Need to swap out for an XL255, but otherwise, near stock, better armor, 2 LL and 1 LB10-X. Has decent range to poke, and the LBX fires fast enough to be useful up close. Not sold on this yet, but it was fairly effective. Also, could swap out the AMS and up the engine to a XL280.

ENF-5P - Full UAC Dakka. with the UAC5 module, it can empty out fast. 1 ton more ammo for the ML is an option, but ML is more flexible.

I run a Shadow Hawk 2D2 with that. 2LLasrers, 4 SSRM2S, 1 A/C2.

Your right, 1 measely A/C2 seems to strike fear in some lol. I like it too because it still has an ok RoF for "securing" that kill when the LLasers are on cool down.
