I run STD275 and 5 tons of ammo. If i am careful with my aim, those 5 tons bring me about 600 dmg per match. Enough for me.

If UACs were just burst ACs with faster cooldowns and no jams, I think I would be okay with them

They definitely increased the jam rate. I stopped using UAC5s completely. They are now inferior by any metric to the AC5.

i think for me the line was crossed when running a ctf-im with 3 uac5s and all 3 would jam up frequently, often at the same time. ive since switched to lb-10s then ac10s, which is just brutal, at least till i run out of ammo and have to use the single small laser for backup.

i guess they are best used when you have more than one and when you have 2 or 3 other weapons to choose from. as a primary or stand alone weapon system, its just crap.
