Greetings MechWarriors,

We will be rolling out a hot-fix later today, tentatively scheduled for release between 5:00 PM PST and 6:00 PM PST (1:00 AM UTC to 2:00 AM UTC), to resolve the following issues:

  • Pressing “F” to center ‘Mech legs would cause the ‘Mech to behave erratically
  • Torso turn speed was not behaving correctly with arm lock enabled

Please note that until our next patch, using the ‘center legs’ command will momentarily disable horizontal arm lock while the ‘Mech is centering its legs. This will be fixed on March 3rd.

The currently estimated downtime for this hot-fix is approximately 40 minutes. When services are restored you will be required to apply a small patch.

This post will be updated with further information as required.

UPDATE: Services are restored.

I know, just when the NA prime time is gearing up. Seems like this could have been held off till the CF or something. But I don't know anything so don't mind me.

Sadness. I wonder how much of the population plays in the last two hours before ceasefire on EST vs. the 8pm to 11 pm slot.

Edit: Sweet, was down only for a short time. :)

Indeed. Lots of teams are practicing right at this time as well. Poorly planned, i feel.

We're back up!

Apologies for the timing of this one. With the impact these issues were having on gameplay, we wanted to get the fix out as soon as it was ready to go.

And a hidden mouse mechanic change.... Revert it. Or give us an option to turn off the new mouse movement.

It feels as though the input from making a torso twist now carries through the full input from sensitivity. Probably the way it will be now.

After the hotfix, pressing the "Center Legs to Torso" key (default 'F') now causes Hunchbacks and Griffins to spin in a never-ending circle.

Mouse Movement feels just wrong now, it's much too fast.
