Yeah we (Seraphim) were helping out Kurita for a week but as soon as we joined we were pretty much abandoned, so we left for Rasalhague.

Abandoned? How so? I thought the Mercs were taking care of the Clan border? Did you sign up as mercs to work towards House Kurita's goals or do your own thing? If it is the latter then I don't know what to tell you... Don't expect to join HK and expect all the loyalists to just drop what they are doing and do what you want us to do.

That wasn't the problem I had. That's all in good fun. Most of what I saw would get you banned if Pgi even cared hahA. It got worse when ever we would win. Sorry but you're not on the good guys side. I guess every game needs a bad guy sorry for you they never win.

1)You voted to remove yourselves from the SLDF
2) You told everybody publicly that you would continue attacking Davion
3) You broke every agreement you had with Marik
4) When we tried to help u in your struggle against the clans by leaving your border alone for a 2 week period end of January beginning of February, at the request of 9th SD, you decided to repay us by attacking us with out provocation or warning and then NS and NKVA specifically decided to trash talk all Davion units and basically treat every one they came in contact with in a very unsportsmanlike manner..Including units that don't even speak back to you during game..You continue to do this to this day...
5) You have generally treated every unit, other than the house units, that have come to your space like inferior people and have treated your friends and enemies alike with disdain and condescending attitudes.
6) You have taken advantage of the fact that Davion population is low to force your way into Davion Space...Remember we tried working with you before our population went to crap...

You attacked us. You are the bad guys. That's how it works. The Clans and the Davions are the bad guys too. Liao and Steiner are currently neutral/good guys. For now, that is what we have.

Both Marik loyal merc units left as a result of HK not joining the nSL.
Statements were made before going to FRR. We were informed that certain merc units needed to support nSL members and would be leaving.

We understood this and went our separate ways.

This latest attack and informal declaration of War is a direct result of the same resentment involving HK not joining the nSL.

Given, I come from a nation renowned for caution that borders on paranoia, but consider that it was outrageous enough that it inspired this thread filled with more vinegar than a forest-sized salad, catching the piled fuel like a munitions dump of trolling.

So there were sudden calls for Marik to go attack Kuritan worlds. Who did it? Why, given the Marik penchant for plans within plans would they instead fire up the guns when there was a clearly documentable chain of events that might have led to an attack, but was irrationally skipped in favor of going full derp? Juuuuuust as a major Marik player is getting back into the loop after being out for a critical week?

More incompetent attempts at "starting something" between two factions have been made in the past. This has too many blank spots to be anything but suspicious, and a derailment like this that caters both to the natural trollery of NKVA and the precise points to cause maximum butthurt in Marik has a very short list of who'd feel better about the entire affair.

Look at all this. Someone observed you both, found the weak points, and then pushed your buttons and nobody can say who actually started this in Marik, other than that they took advantage of the Marik penchant for herding up when someone says that something needs to be done. The responsible party(ies) are nowhere to be found.

I smell a rat.

Wasn't part of HK's descion not to join the nSL to sidestep diplomatic blowouts like this happening on our end? Because if we did agree to join the nSL then all it would take would be a board 12-man or two to go bully the Davions and we would have been tossed out as soon as we were let in. Joining with the nSL would have meant making promises we know we couldn't keep. So we simply decided that keeping to ourselves was better for everyone rather than flat out lying to our prospective allies, correct?

Oh yes I know that was the reasoning. It is perfectly sound as well. The problem is that you guys have the numbers to swamp them like they did to you now. The issue is instead of focusing the border it seemed like you would and then you would just leave and go to the other borders. That was the frustrating part. Not the fact that it was happening so much as it seemed like it was happening because you went to another border when we had been winning.

The Seraphim leaving had nothing to do with that. We decided to go because we felt it was making no impact. There was also some of the whole anti merc trolling or whatever in the forums that was aggrivating as well but I dont think that played as big of a part. I know some of us had a good time with you guys for the first few days of our contract. I know I had a good conversation or two with a Stealth Raptor (I think?). The problem is as the week went on and there was sucess on the clan border it seemed like you guys abandoned it. That may not be true but that is how it seemed. I know that played a huge part in why we personally left.
