I would love to be able to play this on some loud speakers as I was dropping on planet just to put the fear of God into my enemies.
ConbiChrist: (Your God) Sent us to destroy.

For an assault, only Tool will do.
I listen to a diverse blend of classic and modern rock when I play starcraft 2. Pretty much anything that keeps my APM up.

Somehow this appeals to me, there's just something about large piloted machines being vaporized to the sound of the new old funk

- Old school Judas Priest (anything from Screaming for Vengeance, Defenders of the Faith, Blood Red Skies or Painkiller CDs)
- Iron Maiden (The Trooper, Where Eagles Dare, Revelations, The Prisoner, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Somewhere In Time, really anything from Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Powerslave, Seventh Son CDs)
- +1 to the freak above that shouted Queensryche (Operation: Mindcrime FTW, also Rage For Order and Warning CDs)
- Megadeth (Anything from Rust In Peace, So Far, So Good...So What?, Countdown to Extinction CDs)
- Anything from Fear Factory (old school industrial metal, songs like Cyberwaste, Zero Signal, 540,000 Fahrenheit, Hi-Tech Hate, Freedom or Fire, Shock, Edgecrusher. Anything from Demanufacture, Mechanize, Obsolete, or Industrialist CDs).
- Most stuff from Gojira (Heaviest Matter of the Universe (Assault Mechs only, volume to 11, k thx), Backbone, Flying Whales, From The Sky, Oroborus, Vacuity)
- Anything from Agalloch (mellow music, but 9 to 17 minute songs FTMFW such as Falling Snow, Fire Above/Ice Below, Not Unlike the Waves, She Painted Fire Across the Sky)

medium mech: generic metal
heavy mech: RIDE OF THE VALKYIRES (ALL DOISE MISSILES IN DA CATAPULT)
assault mech: I assume anything orky and dakka-y from WH 40K
gotta play AoMythology music for the Atlas though
I gotta get in the mood you know?
That said, I think they should implement limited modability, so like the mechs can have built in radios, and all we have to do Is populate our game's music files with, is music of our choice
an example would be like in the Sims 2, how you could insert your own music and pictures into the game's radio and painting easel files, respectively, and it'd show up in game
Additionally I think it would be really cool if Piranha could allow for filepaths, so we could really specify a playset for each mech, so like If I want the Spongebob soundtrack for my jenner, I would go to [MWO folder]\[radio]\light\jenner\[put music here], Now I don't know how much extra work that'd be, but it can't possibly be THAT much can it? sort of an icing on the cake kind of thing
