It looks like part big ego and part lashing out. Seen it before on mmo forums. People consider themselves important and that we will feel some sadness for him? Or somehow it will take the wind out of others sails (sort of misery loves company).

Because we all know he'll be back. He won't be able to help himself. He'll be back to read what he hopes will be legions of others who agree with him, or to see all the "please don't leave us" posts.
None of which will be here for him to read. I don't expect him to post again though.

I completely agree that developers should absolutely positively be paid for their work, I do not pirate anything, I do use open source software to my hearts content and yes I know that this is NOT open source.
I don't like the model, I have not seen anything beyond artwork, I have had forum posts deleted for being excited about playing (political correctness has come to forums), I will have to pay for gamer bandwidth, big time hardware to be competitive, which I don't mind, I'll have to buy mechs to try them, I dont know the load outs, I dont know about repairs or spawns or spawn points but I do know that a bunch of people are going to have a FOREVER advantage because they did pay.
So keep it Piranha, Legendary, Elite and Veterans, that have never played, keep it, I'm just pissed that I invested this much time already. So delete me, whatever.....
This is not MW5, good luck but I have better things to do...
I hope you view the videos and perhaps reconsider. As you know, this is a F2P format MWO and not MW5. I've played a number of premium monthly pay to play games like WoW and I've played a number of F2P games like Runes of Magic and World of Tanks. Sometimes I take a break, sometimes I set up some of my kids and friends playing in the F2P games. When I'm ready to play I can choose the level of involvement. Taking a break does not ruin my competitiveness nor my pocket book. I paid for months for WoW without feeling like I was getting my money's worth. I took a 2 year break from Runes of Magic, now my kids want to play their old accounts and all the purchased items are still there. Not to mention the unicorns my daughters are riding are no where else to be seen by players in the worlds/servers they are playing today.
Thanks for considering our words.
Best regards,
Jax
