It would be very nice if one EBJ variant had the XL300 engine. Lore be damned, I think some variants should actually have something to set them apart from the others across all clan mechs. The XL300 would cost you some speed but then you could drive a good twin Gauss rifle variant.

you know last year i only just made it in time to buy the top package a get the reward for early purchase, it was quite hard for me to do as i had bills i had to pay first and stuff but in the end i was able to do it,
I swore id not let PGI catch me off guard again with these buy now or miss out deals that last all of a week, so i now have a PGI fund that i keep $120 in at all times, my wife called me crazy and laughed at me, I told her Id be the one laughing when they only give you a week to purchase the next package to get the rewards. (yes she plays to and is a bigger fan then me)
I got my package a few mins after it was on the site, my wife is now bashing her brain to find the money for it. HAHAHA WHOS LAUGHING NOW WOMAN!!!!

(I'm not evil i will gladly buy her the package but not until the last day as she deserves to sweat for laughing at me!

Agreed. I think they could fix this by bending the legs a little more, to make the mech shorter.
The problem with the original art of the Cauldron Born and Nova in that is real life these mechs wouldn't be able to run properly.

It's the one and only battlemech with such a cannon in lore.

Don't know if this has been asked yet. But I own both Wave 1 and 2 top packages. If I decide to not purchase Wave 3 and wait for the cbill release, would I be able to use my faction camo on the cbill versions?

Also, what about some discount if I purchase the top tier for Wave 3 if I bought Wave 1 and 2 top tier?

the Blood Asp is still a few years away time line wise, in the recent town hall Russ said they are now considering releasing Mechs from 3052, but the Blood Asp is a 3060 Mech.

Annoyingly the Bushwacker is listed as being first produced in 3053.

Unfortunately no.

Faction camo like all camo are unlocked on a per chassis basis. So, unless you buy Wave 3, you won't get them available by default unless you put up MC when the MC/C-bill releases arrive (the camo is a bonus for buying Wave 3 at the level you purchase).

well at this point the flea is likely a no show after the ovias short comings of the locust 20T mechs are not worth it as mentioned in the pryer town hall unless they do something like the erben sale

Ahhh. The way you explained it makes sense now. Thanks for clearing that up.

PGI should give us the camo's at least for spending $360 on clan packs.. I've probably sunk close to $500 on this game already.

Yep. Sounds like it's something lower settings don't have. Never played on a lower setting.

Mine reflects blue under most light sources; except Caustic Valley where it tinges teal and the swampy Bog map, where it shines a brilliant green for some reason.

This shot, also in the perfect screenshot thread, also shows off the effect on the (L) version of the King Crab.

For the King Crab it's actually a bluish purple, regardless of what colors you put on the mech. The Blackjack heromech Arrow has a brilliant purple shine -- which is really weird when you paint yourself pure white and shine purple.
