I think this mech is so overpowered that it needs to be nerfed.

I'm in a heavy, hitting it dead center torso and it's like I'm fighting against a Dire Wolf. I think that is a load of crap. PGI needs to open up the hit boxes on it, or underpower it, so it is more like a light, instead of an assault.

Total load of crap.

Hey, I have an idea.

PGI, why don't you tighten up MY hitboxes on my Jagers?

Yeah...even up the playing field that you are messing with.

This, I have nailed many ACs with a full 43 point alpha and the leg armor is still orange? This mech has way too much armor for a 30 ton mech.

You missed with the majority of your alpha then. They have 28 leg armour and the legs don't have any wonky hitboxes.

Hey guys, in case you forgot.

Damage failing to register does NOT mean a mech is overpowered. It just means your damage is failing to register. had fk all to do with the mech besides bad hitreg or bad hitboxes...when the hitboxes get fixed it will die like jenners.

Stop blaming the mech when the problems are elsewhere, besides the Nova is the SPL king and you know it.

EVERY light mech does not register damage properly per the netcode in CryEngine 3. The real reason people hate the ACH is because it is the most powerful light yet, possibly ever in lore and inherited the bad netcode.

The best light in lore is probably either the Wulfen or Hellion, leaning towards the Wulfen (only thing holding it back is that several variants have bad stock weapon choices).

The ACH wasn't all that great in lore because of having somewhat low stock armor.

The netcode could be improved most likely along with several other optimization aspects with an asset transfer to Unreal Engine 3. This doesn't seem to be a priority to the devs unfortunately. Gratuitous facelifts to maps like Caustic Valley are though.

There is a max of 28 armor and 14 structure. If you put in the A legs you gain a further 15 internal structure putting it at a total of 57. His full 43 alpha would indeed bring it to the red/orange and not destroy it if the ACH pilot was smart and got those legs.

I would say that the use of missile mechs, even in the lower tiers, has fallen off greatly due to the Bzillion Arctic Cheaters running around with ECM. It is the King of the lights now..... The old reining Firestarter with its one torso death and lack of ECM does not even come close. It is very, very rare to see the old 6ml Jenner on the battlefield. It has been left in the dust by the AC.
