My prediction:

Cheetah: 30 Ton Clan jenner with ECM - Mid tier

ShadowCat: Mix Between BJ and Centy - God Tier

Ebon Jaguar: Mix Between TDbolt, Jager, Catapult - god tier

Exe: Kinda like a 95 Ton clan DS with more armor and weapons. no JJ - high tier

I think I just might spend all 120 like i did with wave 2..I just better not get burned like PGI did with the gargoyle and lynx....thoughts?

Cheetah - Death incarnate
Shadowcat - pretty nasty machine
Jaguar - probably hellbringer level
Executioner - Ugly death machine

I already bought it.

I'd do it.
This looks like the most solid investment in Clan Mechs to date.
I have nothing wrong with the ones released (with the exception of being a crappy Garg Pilot), but this is truly worth the $120.

You get 16 Mechs, 60 days Premium. 4 Faction Packs....its pretty nuts to be honest.

What's strange is that we are still in the window for the 2nd wave of loyalty reward 'mechs (15th Anniversary) yet Wave III is not included as a qualifier.

MASC is not a lie, the Executioner gets it too.

EJ won't have to expose a human-shaped target before it can get its guns to clear terrain.

I thought the executioner was going to suck, but it has giant shield arms, so as long as you take the weapons out of the arms and stuff them into the torsos, you might have a real mech. Looks like for some variants you're going to have to stuff the right side with weapons and give up the entire left side as a shield.

My only knock on the Executioner is the free tons...if I did my math right, something like 20 tons? Lazer boat inc.

Otherwise they all look pretty good.

Arctic Cheetah: Best Clan light, probably one of the best overall lights. Will be in the top 3 overall lights unless something weird happens.

Shadow Cat: Could range from alright to good. Will almost certainly not beat the Doomcrow however.

Cauldron Born: Roughly Timberwolf firepower and hardpoints, with less armor. Will be either 2nd best or 3rd best Clan heavy, and one of the overall best heavies in the game. Probably won't beat the Mad Cat.

Gladiator: Will beat the Gargles easily. Stands a good chance at beating the Warhawk. Probably not as good as the Whale though. Should be a decent ride, maybe good. Maybe not "great."

I would tweet Russ, I'm sure they would consider this package to those that bought it. I've found my dealings with them very very reasonable.

I have to say the whole thing looks better than Wave II, not that Wave II set the bar very high. If it weren't for the Hellbringer, Wave II would be irredeemably bad. So I'm thinking about just buying the whole bloody lot again.

Will tip the balance even more in favour of clan tech. That's my, honest, first impression. The Cheetah is like the missing piece in the puzzle.

Not sure how to feel about it, those mechs in general look pretty tough to me(and I'm literally drooling on the ACH stats, just 5 tons short but.. good speed, ECM, extremly nice hardpoint layout(+Endo+Ferro), I bet it's a blast to pilot it). That's cool for clan pilots but considering the current really supreme position of the Crow and the Timberwolf I'm not too sure what to think about it. I pilot both Clan and IS Mechs myself. At least for the Crow I know how powerful it is, how many viable configurations it has and how powerful clan tech(Lasers, Missilesystems in particular) can be. I don't think either the SCR or the TBR are iWin Buttons but they have an impeccable combination of Firepower, Speed and Maneuverability(and Clan XL Engines).

The Ebon Jaguar will be one of the deadliest machines to ever come to MWO. 65 tons, sure, but its hardpointloadouts, combined with the fact that it has 1 and a half more tons of pod space over the Timber Wolf (with max armor), just...

Here's some loadouts to give you an idea of what one can do with such a beastly machine:

LRM Boat - 4x LRM 10's
Sniper Hill-humper - Gauss Rifle, 3 ERLLs, 4ERSL's
Brawl Machine V1 - UAC20, 3MPL, 4EML
Brawl Machine V2 - 2 LB10, 6 SPL
Brawl Machine V3 - 2 UAC5, 4 SRM6
I VOMIT ALL THE LASERS - 2LPL, 2ERLL, 6ERML

Herm...single heavy ballistic + 2 CERPPC's or 2 CLPL +1 ton of ammo?

Or lasers for the win...

For this not to happen they will have to monumentally bork the hitboxes and/or the modelling. Both are a possibility so I definitely have my fingers crossed.

The good news is that the Mad Cat and Crow probably won't be dethroned. The big change is that Clans won't be disadvantaged in the light class anymore.

This pack was probably aimed at motivating people to step out of their TBR/SCR for a few drops in something else, sort of like how the HBR is almost as good as the TBR but not quite.

If they Bork the hitboxes they should do them like the spider. that would make it the deadliest under 40 ton mech.

The Shadowcat has always struck me as a fun mech, but I don't see why people think it's going to be so good. I mean, I'm not complaining. I like the Shadowcat for what is. But it has a serious hardpoint problem to be competitive in MWO, I think. You're not scaring anyone with 2 large lasers and 1 medium pulse lasers, or whatever you're going to slap on it. It's a bigger Adder, with ECM.

Even if they broke the hitboxes, it could still be pretty close to the Jenner in effectiveness. They would have to try REALLY hard to make it weak. It just has so much going for it in terms of construction.
