You guys were worried about the wormhole and losing planets weeks before Marik attacked. You had decided to close it while we were still considered allies, a week before Marik attacked. Don't try to change the timeline. ;)

I haven't mentioned anything about a timeline so I have no idea what you are talking about. Yes, we were concerned about the wormhole before Marik launched an attack against us because it was becoming more and more clear that the floating island idea was not going to work. Kurita agreed to allow Marik a floating island to try to drift toward the clans not cut through Kurita completely to get there. Once it was clear the floating island idea wasn't going to work there was absolutely no reason to allow the wormhole to continue. The aggressive actions by MS accelerated our urgency to shut it down.

NS has always seemed pretty sportsmanlike in every game I've dropped in with them. Same with pretty much every Kurita unit.

You can just come out and say it. A bunch of Marik players got real salty because NKVA beat them and said they were bad. Interesting, considering we were just talking a page ago about how we all know Marik's house units are pretty bad, and that they're okay with being bad.

Marik burned bridges over a couple dozen brand new players who like to post on the forums. I can only imagine what Steam release is going to do to Forum Warfare.

Yes, you beat some Mariks and said they were bad. And you beat some Davions and said they were bad too. Then you made threads asking for Ceasefires and New Beginnings and wondered why people weren't interested. End Story.

The Steam release? All the 'pro players' will look around and go Clan. All the RPers will want to be the 'Good Guys' and go Davion. No one will go Liao and everyone else will divide the rest- with more people going to the factions with the "coolest" symbol.

BTW- If you pick your Faction from the actual client, the Clans have cool write ups and quotes, and the IS houses get nothing. ;)

I meant more that the general Steam gaming community is a lot more toxic than anything anyone's seen from NKVA. NKVA are actually pretty chill guys. The Mechwarrior community has just lived in its own little niche bubble for so long that it seems to have forgotten what the internet is like.

Well Clan Mortal Combat will get the share of people looking for the coolest symbol then, and errybody knows black and red looks sexy on a mech!

It's become a bit of an inside joke for NKVA that interacting with the MWO community is like using a time machine to travel to the internet in the year 2000. Glad we're not the only ones who see it.

I know the NKVA guys are cool. But I have thick skin. I work in the Adult Entertainment field and nothing offends or shocks me.

I am sure the forum and game will become far more toxic than it is now. There are plenty of players that ONLY play this game- that's why we have threads complaining about "the grind" and P2W. They have no clue what is out there.

That is the question, isn't it? Only one way to find out.

In 3 months of focusing on us, we could possibly lose 90-180 planets, about half of what we have now. You might lose 180-360 to Clans- which means the only planets you will have left will be in Marik's space (plus Luthien). Would you still call this a victory?

Yes. Do you even pay attention to what we say? the way of the warrior is death, son. if we manage to kill you every time we drop who cares if we lose all our worlds? All that is vanity. Only death as a samurai is important.
