An ECM Heavy is better than an ECM Assoult for CW, so anyone who points at the DDC is DDdodging the issue.

Just because you would trade away your ECM assault doesn't mean everyone would. Bringing along one DDC doesn't exactly put a lot of strain on your CW resources given how often at least one or two jump capable lights are brought along. Not to say it wouldn't be nice to have an ECM heavy for IS, but it is hardly an issue.

Your post still says it has CT weapons.... Is it agenda or ignorance?

Another discussion about the ECM. Does it stops your lasers or GR? Nope! It just slows down the LRM (which are basically useless - #coversAreOP! ). Then what are you complaining about?

The best part of the ECM is the info that denies to the enemy but still doesn't stop bullets. I'd rather have ES on the Hellbringer instead of the the ECM.

Resorting to name calling doesn't further any discussion.

I'm not whining when I point out that one side having an ECM heavy is a huge advantage. That's an objective truth. I pilot IS and Clan, sir. I'd be saying the same thing if this the tables were turned.

"What about the DDC?" Disingenuous at best. Remove the Hellbringer and DDC, and make the ECM mechs the QKD-5K and Dire Wolf, and it'd be just as bad of an unbalanced tonnage situation, just in reverse.

We kind of have Angel ECM already; now that there are *finally* more counters to ECM than simply more ECM, I am kind of afraid of what PGI will do with Angel ECM.

IS has 4 lights with ECM, Clans have 2
IS has 1 medium with ECM, Clans have 0
IS has 0 heavy with ECM, Clans have 1
IS has 1 assault with ECM, Clans have 0


With currently announced chassis included the numbers will change to :

IS has 4 lights with ECM, Clans have 3
IS has 1 medium with ECM, Clans have 1
IS has 0 heavy with ECM, Clans have 1
IS has 1 assault with ECM, Clans have 0

Is it necessary to match both factions completely ?

IS had/has more ecm, nobody cared.


IS will get one some day. In the mean time they need to pump out clan mechs to reach the amount IS has.
