Not really a "mech" in the traditional sense...but its big and smashes stuff. And it BLEEDS.

But if its a who will win best, hey a warhammer emperor titan could wipe out a whole battalion Battlemechs with his opening salvo

What mech / robot do you think is the best (or the one you pretend you are when you are home alone?
This is a MechWarrior forum with BattleTech FanBoys what do you think it will be it's a dump question (IMO) but answered it anyway (crap my IQ just dropped a point).

lol silly poll....
posting such that stacks any game up to others on that game's site (doesnt even JUST apply to this situation) and the result will be pretty obvious

Mechwarrior still wins in my book, but still Gundam was an influence

The answer is Armored Core, no question. Those vehicles are hyper-maneuverable with the firepower and durability to destroy a small country. Second place would be the Titans from 40k. They have the firepower and durability, but they're giant targets, and slow.
Both of those are very unrealistic and probably physically impossible.
Mechwarrior has the most believable machines. Myomer is real (we have material that contracts when electrified), and fusion will probably be achieved within 100 years or less.
Humans could probably economically build Battletech-style mechs within 100 to 200 years, easily.
If you are asking, "Which universe is most entertaining?"
I dunno, that's just a personal opinion. I like them all.

Yup, too bad u couldnt change your ingame name, after playing it for the 20th time it became a lil annoying.
me addicted hell bloody hell no XD
WH 40K has nasty mechs aswell, altho most are not driveable, like the dreads for instance, the titans however are a whole different typ of mech XD
Been playing mw games from MW 1 and the roleplaying The cresdents hawk revenge ( i might not hav the correct title but hell its sooooo longgg ago XD) Collected the Modelkits from Revell robotech, the original robotech and others , hell i even made a Shadowcat out of boxes and other waste materials, in a moving , the model was beyond repair

Any way all of stated above are great mechs in their own universe mixxing it would be bad XD
Cheers

As far as mechs I'll go with Robot Jox style... Because watching it now is hilarious. Nothing says mech better than a chainsaw coming out of a robo-crotch.
Edit: On a more serious note I'd say the Rifts Universe has the best variety of power armor, mecha, and weapons. Burst-firing railguns to 2000+ meters and nuclear weapons make me smile.
Heh, neosapiens. Rofl. Yeah, i did watch this =)
But BT/regular gundam mechs (not the super-duper main characher's ones) are more realistic from my point of view => like
Exo squad also fits in "realistic" though
