Both are correct too. It's poorly planned, and their fix was poor. Even if they added value to those who were in before the first deadline it would help their extremely lacking credibility/customer faith. Not like it costs themm anything or they haven't had early teirs before.

A "first" deadline does not exist. All you can blame them for is giving players such a short time frame for the early adopter bonus in the first place. As a result they might give us more than they had to. Waiting for the clarification on the bonus reward for buyers before 28.Feb.

Nothing to deal with. I never had any interest in buying this, which is why i can look at it objectively.

Now if i was someone who specifically said i wasn't getting it because it's not a good time, but they extended so now i might get it, i'd have a biased reason to defend it.

Cool. Except I am likely not getting it either. So.........
(I objectively have to say "likely", because if the artwork comes out and I irrationally fall in love with one of the remaining mechs, I might buy one.)

Yeah I still have no idea why the OP is going off.

They had a cut off then made it last longer with some legitimate reasons like lack of concept art etc.

If you're pissed, just politely ask them for a refund on the package, I bought it and if I don't like what I see I will just get a refund, quite simple.

Is he just pissy that other people can now get the extra variants?

Yup. Exactly. If one is truly so offended, instead of making demands for "substantial compensation" or trying to hold them hostage with "I'm never buying from you again!!!", man up, and get a refund. And if the outrage is really that genuine, IDK why they don't uninstall in the process.

He's 'pissy' that a company who's known for doing shady things, is doing shady things. If you sell something with a limited quantity or window, then change that because you want more money, it's bad. Might not be the case but...

Now if they'd haven't been questionable in the past, this would probably be a non-issue. Problem is they have very little credibility, and things like this make it worse.

So, if they are so shady, request full refund and uninstall.

Thats how you deal with bad companies.

What are you babbling about exactly? PGI set the deadline not me, therefore those of us that actually bought it have the RIGHT to our exclusive deal... Period...

You attitude is kind of gross.

It's a shame you can't joke about anything anymore in this world. There used to be this thing known as *******. But we can't even say THAT because it is offensive.

Well, it wasn't quite clear it was a joke when his post first came out, and even less so when others made similar comments after that. I also personally know a few who do have (or had) serious cases of wife/girlfriend vs. video games trouble.

In any case, my comments still stand.

Oh my you all are CONFUSTICATED.

I used too many words obviously.
It was that they made a promise\agreement in writing. Don't focus on the content(MECHS) of the promise\contract we entered into,
Focus on the Promise\Contract they wrote and if they did or did they not keep it?

By Extending it they did not stick to their promise\contract those of us that ADOPTED entered into.

You seem to be confused. The promise/contract wasn't broken, rather it was only slightly modified. The original promise/contract was for anyone who bought Wave III packs before the end of Feb. would get extra mechs and that is still being fulfilled. The slight modification was an extension on time to qualify for the extra mechs and has zero impact on the fulfillment of the original promise/contract. As someone who bought two full packs before the end of Feb. because a friend couldn't afford it that soon I should be as irrationally irritated as you, but I am not because it is a complete nonissue. PGI did the right thing by extending this promotion as it was short sighted on their part to release this with such a short window.

But this is not the first time a company has extended a sale...car companies do it all the time when they dont hit quota. Retail Stores do it as well during the holidays, start a day early or "Extend" it to midnight Xmas day BS. I also dont see people complaining when they extend deadlines for challenges(well maybe some)....that's the same concept.

My point is, this happens a lot in the business world. We as the consumer need to make sure we get extra for being extra loyal so the feet tapping and frustration is warranted. I know i am slightly upset with the extension but i saw it coming a mile away. Either way, I was extra loyal and if you want me to continue to do so i need something from you showing the same dedication to me as i show to you, your company and products.

Its funny when you find those people who say they haven't played the game in 6 or so months and are still bitching and ragging and moaning like people actually care.

This lot is no different.

The part you're missing is the MAGNITUDE of the subject. (That's assuming you were lied to, which you weren't, and whether the lie is distinct from a change of mind, which it is.)

Talking about integrity when it comes to military incidents, legislation, or personal conduct of a government official...that's relevant.

Talking about when people get their free video game s*** makes you this guy:
