The FRR and Draconis Combine have always had a friendly relationship. Now that the Falcons have shown they want to fight the DCMS in this thread, I offer DCMS forces an unofficial briefing on Jade Falcon and JFP tactics before you make contact with them. This is based on the combat reports of the Old Dragon Battle Group [OLD]. JFP is singled out because it was our primary point of contact with large units of Jade Falcons.

Typically at match start they suicide rush gens and omega in Stormcrows, Hellbringers, and Timberwolves. Then they suicide rush gens and omega in Stormcrows, Hellbringers, and Timberwolves. Then they suicide rush gens and omega in Stormcrows, Hellbringers, and Timberwolves. Finally, they suicide rush gens and omega in Stormcrows, Hellbringers, and Timberwolves.

It seems they do this only a couple of hours before ceasefire to minimize your time to respond with counterattacks.

I have no reports where Falcons won an FRR planet by destroying FRR forces, though reports have not been collected from FRR units other than [OLD].

The information presented in this briefing was gathered from firsthand reports and sensor logs. An unusually large number of first hand reports were available because of the few FRR losses during these Falcon suicide rushes.

I expect Falcon propagandists will attempt to discredit this report shortly.

Wingbreaker isn't in JFP? On the FRR forums he called it the "falcon feint". It led me to believe he didn't know what "feint" means but I believe he was referring to when a bunch of Falcons rush through the gate, mostly ignore the enemies as they rush the gens and omega, then try to blow up gens and omega before all the Falcons die. That would then be repeated until all 4 drops are dead or omega is destroyed.

But if Wingbreaker isn't JFP and I wasn't in games where I saw for myself JFP following that tactic then I apologize. I am old after all, my memory could be going out on me...

EDIT: Oh you are right, Falcons also sent in a couple lights one time through a different gate than the main force to rush gens on the other side of the map.

If they are launching attacks on the FRR only a couple of hours before ceasefire it might not be to deny you counterattacks, it could be a symptom of a weak population in the previous timezone. It might not be the case, but I know some CW groups that are still up post-ceasefire will generally "prep" available planets for the guys in the next time zone.

Firsthand documentation of battles against clans jade falcon and wolf would be much appreciated by house Kurita's strategic minds, but here in the official forums might be a bit too open to properly discuss this sort of thing. Duly noted on the enjin page. But I will say here they couldn't farm us like PUGs. They lost the few counterattacks we managed to launch. We give a good accounting of ourselves even against 12-mans like 228 and -MS-. I guess that they didn't win fights when we managed to launch a counterattack makes a good case for them rushing omega when they were attacking.

Or maybe you meant us farm them like PUGs, I don't know.....

Either way I'll leave the thread in peace now as I've gone a bit off the intended topic.

I created the Falcon Feint. No part of it involves suicide rushing.

We may push for objectives, kill everything in our path, and take Omega but at no point was it ever a suicide rush.

He is telling the truth, they never suicide, they just expend mechs for gen kills.

Light rushes are suicide 9 times out of 10 but we have pages and pages of turbopubs complaining that lights are OP and comp units having serious discussions on the best counters for them.

Hmm pretty sure you also use a lot of Ghost Drops to take worlds as well. So it would be wrong to say you only zerg rush to wins.
