Runs 121KPH
ERPPC
2xSRM4
3xJJ
It's not beast mode. But I love it for dual range possibilities and mobility to reposition. I usually sneak up on at least 1 assault a game and kill them via SRM spam to the back. Rest of game is usually just support with PPC due to lack of ammo.

Can't compare Enforcer to anything but the ones I have seen in the field seem to do ok.

The Panther 10 is solid for me, and I'm not bothered by having to keep it.
The Panther 8Z is gonna get sold once they come out for cbills.
The Enforcers...I like. I'm still messing with builds though.

Oh, if you sold the 9r, for lack of wub, you have made a critical error.

Panthers are still dust collecting until probably after I elite/master the Zeus and Hopper.

Haven't dropped once with the Enforcers (their engines are in the Panthers). It's too ugly

And the ENF-4R is on my Medium Mech short list. But ain't nothing gonna put my HBK-4G in the corner.

For the Panther, I found builds that really worked well for me in all three chassis - but I often found I was better off not playing to the quirks, because doing the "recommended" did not result in an enjoyable mix of weapons and ranges, FOR me.
The Enforcer is where I tried to stick more to the quirks. It was hit or miss doing so. Ac10 on the 4R is what is quirked, but in its' energy glory, it wants tonnage for those other weapon systems, the energy not the ballistic. So though I got a 2+ kdr over about 50 games, towards the end I actually went with the non quirked uac5, even considering just the ac5, and loaded up more on the energy and heat sinks and better engine. Some have been doing the 3 large laser, 2 medium laser / 2 large, 3 medium pulse, but I've not tried it. Looked effective though.
The 5d may well have a respectable LBX quirk, but it's not enough. It just about gets ok on the Cent D when it's quirked to +40%, then between fast fire and the cooldown module you can get to around +57% cooldown. But for the 5d, it's about half that and certainly not enough to really make the LBX good in this platform. It just doesn't throw the shot fast enough to be feasible. Better off going Ac10 even though not quirked for it, or perhaps consider something like two ac5, or a single uac5. Tended to run a small laser on this one, in the left torso, which fills the lower slot, so that an ER ppc, or PPC could go in the higher slot... very nice high mount and you can essentially do the same on the 4R to get high mount laser/ppc.
The 5P was the enforcer stinker. It's hardpoint poor, in the sense that you can't use them all that well to make this a beast. It's a 50 tonner, so if you go ballistics, you gotta go all the way - you don't even have the luxury of a high mount for the one energy hard point that you do have, may as well forget it or just use a .5ton in the build for a small laser, since for some reason, this one is also jump jet limited, with a maximum of 2. I found this was the one... the only one that was really worth following the quirks on. Two UAC5, 5 tons ammo, 2 jump jets, and an xl270 engine, probably could drop the small laser for an xl275. Runs at 96.2kph, would probably be 97.1 with the 275. I might be slightly off in remembering the build, but that's about it. It was actually quite effective with some discipline on the fire button, not actually double tapping except in dire straights or when I was not the FOCUS of an enemy. Got good kills, even with the small laser finishing opponents between cooldown cycles and jams. And it of course ran utterly cool, cause no energy weapons to speak of. Not saying this was great, but its one that worked. I couldn't see 2xac5 and a medium laser working so well and none of the ac2 builds I tried made much of an impact, beyond keeping heads down.

sideeffects that i observed: panthers seem to be ignored most times. They haven´t the "kill that FS, SDR or 3L" effect on them
Enforcers are better then i expected. they can take some hits. good mobility, hardpoints are ok.
opticly they are both not that "iconic" to me like hunchies ore cents are. but fun to play.

As for the Panther though, it is an awesome little mech. I enjoy all 3 variants and it is a fun mech to play. It is a bit slow, but speed becomes decent once skilled and it packs a good punch. Best of all, it has excellent hit boxes.
I will say this about the Panthers. You will see a lot of haters on the forum from other light pilots. Especially Firestarter pilots that are never afraid to tell you how their mech is better. This is the thing to keep in mind...
IMO, the Panther is a Medium Pilot's light. If you normally run medium mechs (especially mechs where the big punch weapon is in the arm), you will love the Panther and feel at home. If you are a light pilot, you will see a light mech that is inferior at getting close and and running around doing damage like a ninja.
That just seems to be how I see it. As primarily a Medium Pilot, I love the Panther. No regrets what so ever.

Of course, if hit reg is ever fixed, then we'll see how truly superior MOST of the FS9 pilots really are........

The 5D Enforcer is alright. Nothing fancy, but not bad either. The much loved 4R is giving me a headache though. First I though I'll go all energy with a STD engine, just to figure out that the Enforcer is quite XL friendly, and STD doesn't offer enough for the tonnage used. I don't own the XL 260 long enough to judge it with XL engines, but we'll see. The 5P however is awesome fun. Forget the Quirks, put 2 AC/5s, 1 Medium Laser and an XL280 in it and run around like Mr. Gunslinger himself with one pistol in each arm.
All in all quite happy with the Resistance Pack so far.

better off using that build with both in the LA; then you can use the Right Arm and side, to a degree, as a shield. Looks ugly as heck, but it works. Plus better weapon convergence.
