I'll play them all of course but, I voted Hunchback. Reason being, I like to be in the thick of it. Jenner is going to be fun, the scout roll looks like it's actually going to be pretty damn cool. Atlas is huge and powerful, but it's super slow and I think getting shot in the back constantly would become pretty frustrating. Catapult is a great mech, but mostly a long range platform until I can afford some variants.

I chose Jenner, but I'm starting to cave-in to the Legendary option. I want a founders Hunchback along with my Jenner.

Copy/paste from a previous thread.

Jenner because...
- I like the dome shape around the head.
- My impression is that it is the least picked founder mech. I like choosing options against the majority.
- Its got the Zoomies!

Atlas because it's so iconic. I will have to upgrade to get all 4 because of my ADMD ( attention deficit mech disorder). I will need to try them all.

I have always loved the Jenner light class scout. I recall many good hours playing with a Jenner both in eariler Mechwarrior games and P&P game as well.

I went with hunchback because I have a feeling that lances will be light on "work horse" mechs in the rush to either get Assaults or Lights. Someone needs to keep the little guys off the big guys.

in a nutshell? the only IS mech of the 4 I find remotely tasteful to my decidedly clan oriented pallet. Atlas.

Whichever for whatever role I need. But if I had to choose, Atlas. I love the sheer firepower of it, plus its armor. I can deal with its manuverability

My pick would be the Atlas. I always preferred playing Assault or Heavy mechs.

The Catapult brings back memories of my first foray into Battletech, MW4:V. I know I'm a late bloomer BT-wise, but bare with me. The first few missions limit you, to light and then medium mechs. Then, you encounter a Catapult. It becomes your introduction to heavy chassis, and your tutorial for the fire support role. I instantly fell in love with the simplicity of the design. It's a mech you look at, and instantly know it's purpose: target locked missile macross massacre. Now to see this reinvented version with updated graphics...yeah, you're damn right I picked it.

Hunchback. I prefer brawling to fire support or scouting but I didn't want to buy my way into an assault. There's plenty of time to earn that later on.

With the legendary package, I have all the Founders BattleMechs. Plan on using them all but curious on the recon role and its rewards in MWO.

I just wish that Elite would get to pick two mechs :b I'm so torn between Hunchback and Catapult. As of now I'm going for Catapult, long range support for the win. What Catapult can achieve when combined with active scouts, oh my...

Atlas. He holds up the freaking sky!

Also I love throwing non-standard loadouts on assault mechs for ***** and giggles. ("Jump jets and HOW many machineguns do you have?")

Also I'm assuming it would be the hardest one to grind cash for, so starting off with it and bonus cash just might keep me poor but still playing at full effectiveness.
