Server Instability Between 11PM PDT and 12AM PDT

Greetings MechWarriors,
Over the past two days, usually between 11PM PDT and 12AM PDT, players have been experiencing crashes and disconnects due to a server-side issue.
We are currently working to fix this, and have already implemented some server-side changes which may have resolved the issue. Depending on the efficacy of these changes, there remains a possibility that these issues may occur again tonight between the stated timeframe.
This post will be updated with further information as needed.

The servers are probably not haunted.

I'd been wondering if that was just me; I've had this happen for a couple days now.

Any word on what the problem was, out of curiosity?

Sounds like a scheduled full AV scan, or backups running on the servers....or some such thing.

Or, maybe "they" are making changes in the Matrix. If the windows suddenly brick up...it's too late.

I remember this happening before previously, but it wasn't as impactful (it was like the servers struggled at time).

It has to be some sort of daily maintenance or something along those lines that would cause it.

We did have a change for the time clock recently but that's just my guess.

Same instability happens every evening at 18-20pm GMT.

all I know is that I tried to get into a match a few min ago and got dc'd twice in a row without even seeing any hint of a match screen, just back into the mechlab after several min of searching, so I said fubared and hit the old alt-f4...
