What symbol, piece of art, image or music is iconic for you in the BT universe?

MW2 soundtrack? MadCat? One of the unseen?

What one item takes you 'there'?

For me it was the Warhammer on the original artwork of the boxed edition.

The MW3 menu music and the way how the buttons sound when hovering over them and clicking them.

I was very confused with steam since the messaging sound in steam is a bit similar to this button sound.

But this is the one that started it all for me:

It'd have to be the menu music for mw4: mercenaries. That menu music was so good :)

That cover was the first exposure I had to MechWarrior and Battletech. That will always be the iconic image for me. A Timber Wolf triumphantly marching through the flames.

Runner up: That awesome MW2 soundtrack. So great.

My first impression of Battletech. It never left me, and 10 years later I leanred that there is more than this book.

Its the german cover of "decision at thunder rift".

Ahhh good ol FMV cutscenes. How your actors were always so bad.

OK I take that back. All FMV acting was bad, EXCEPT the Wing Commander series. They were well done.

Came here to post this.

The box to the game that started it all for me.....

The sound track, the female voice of your 'mechs computer and in the 'mechlab that I still hear to this day when mousing over 'mechs: "Summoner" "Gargoyle" "Timbewolf" "Warhawk" "Dire Wolf"
