We all know that we will never get a size pass on mechs that have been modelled and animated. Too much trouble. It has been like this since the Shadowhawk and it will not happen with the Grasshopper

Grasshopper sure is tall. The legs and torsos look kind of thin though. Must see the model in 360D to confirm it.

That zeus...i thought it was supposed to look broad? Sure looks small.

I wish they would release a new map for regular solo players, who aren't interested in that whole community warfare mess.

is it just me, but does it look like in the new CW map, that the gate generators are OUTSIDE the gates???

When i see new map i think "omg that textures will be problem..."

Grass is tall, and i think like SHD XL friendly :)

Anyone notice that the new CW map takes place in the same Planetary system as HPG Manifold? It's the same red planet but much closer up.

don't know just because its using the torblen tile set doesn't mean it will be the same temperature.
it looks dark and deserts get cold at night.

I'm all for hot maps. It makes the game more challenging - it forces players to make choices and think more about their engagements ahead of time. Cold maps are, sadly... easy mode.

By the way, if you had the chance to play it, how were the terrain hitboxes on this new map? (map #4, not #5)
I understand a lot of people showed immediate concern that it would be an invisible wall nightmare when we got the first glimpses of it - do NGNG members get to play a part in playtesting and reporting/eliminating geometry issues like this?

just seen the video, map and new mechs are kewl. cant wait to see the Uber Urbie :)
