Thanks all for posting. I really was unaware of a purpose and what the "win%" meant. Now I can understand the general purpose. (I vote on my own polls because it's another number. And at the end of the day, that's all that matters. Do you really think they read these posts for inspiration? LOL)

....The issue is not change of planetary control, the issue is bringing all game play for this mode to a screeching halt. Let's say PGI really does need at least 30 min to resolve fights on the last set of planets.....aren't there another 100+ planets?! Just open up a different set of battlefronts while the first set resolves, that way we can keep playing and updates can happen unimpeded.
Gladewolf, thank you for putting exactly what I was getting at into more accurate words. And what an excellent suggestion! In general, MMO devs have had a top priority in NOT interrupting their player's experience as much as possible. Look at WoW, they now can update their game WHILE in progress. Only the zones in proximity to you get updated in that order outward. If the purpose really is to update planetary control, then this is the perfect solution. Could you imagine watching a movie in the theater when all the lights come on and the movie is suddenly stopped with a voice over the loud speaker saying, "OK, restroom break, movie commences in 30 minutes!"

Actually, +support to Gladewolf.
If the map was broken into "quadrants", with only one being down at a time, allowing the players to always have some planets to fight on, that would be fantastic.
However, MWO has too few players, especially in CW, to make this viable. I wish we could, and in bigger games I think this has been attempted. In this game, it's too small a playerbase to do it.
Even more to the point above. Because there are so few players, it would be MUCH easier to limit the number of zones being fought in at a time.
