I periodically get an out of control side to side shaking of my torso. "F" doesn't seem to work, "C" seems to work provided I have time to stand still.

As far as I can tell, it's totally random.

Edit: it's totally random whether C or F will stop the shaking...sometimes either will stop it for only a second, sometimes they do nothing. Holding shift always stops it while the button I'd held down, but it start up again the instant I let to.

Apart from mouse and keyboard, any other input peripheral installed?

Ok, correction...sometimes it wants "F", sometimes it wants "C". It seems to like my Dragon( or other fast movers over my slow Atlas)...I've had now twice in three matches.

No, just my craptop and mouse.

Yup, still seems as severe as the day it was introduced.
Toggling arm lock (Lshift) seems to fix it temporarily. Also, I have noticed that it magnitude of the shaking seems to be more severe if my frame rate is low.

No, just my craptop and mouse.

Noticed this only when multiple input peripherals are installed

Not here, my laptop doesn't even have ports for peripherals.

Ok, so apparently, my Dragon has this issue extra bad. I can't figure out what triggers it and it flip-flops between "C" and "F" temporarily resolving it.

Recently, I've occasionally had the odd sensation like the mech was walking on ice. The mech slides around slightly as I'm walking.

I only seem to have the shaky centering with my Firestarters and really bad quickness/mobility and movement. I thought it was because of the speed but my Commandos and Spiders don't seem to have that issue. Is this a new type of nerf to lights?

i thought they fixed this well they kinda did on mech that were doing that have stopped but the ones that never did it now keep doing it. and the only way i can stop it is 3ed person view so i feel like im being forced to play in that view.

Really? 3PV stops it...or just prevents it?

I still have this issue with every mech I own, its much worse if the mech has arms and is more noticeable the faster the mech is. Sick of constantly using the arm lock toggle to stop the shakes. Urbie needs to be put back in the dust bin if introducing it cant be implemented properly

I agree, this needs to fixed ASAP, even if it means rolling back the Urbie mechanics.

Before, when you were in a huncback or storm crow (before March 3rd) and you pressed C, it would turn your mech completely right around and your mech would just turn around in circles and never center.
At that time, if you were in 3PV with those mechs, leg centering worked.

Since then, that bug has been fixed, however there has always been a jitter when aligning legs to center.

As people have said, if you hold left shift while centering legs to torso, the jitter is lessened. 3PV forces arm lock, so this is why it also seems lessened in 3PV as well.

edit: added video of the bug that was fixed march 3rd.

That's not happening to me. My mech acts like it's shaking its head/torso back in forth very rapidly, like it's saying "no". Sometimes it's a little head shake, others times it's big.

It appears the shaky cross-hairs/centering bug may be connected to mechs with 2x Efficiency. My Atlas-K never had it until is skilled to 2x Efficiency...it had it the very next match. The Atlas doesnt appear to get it as bad.

I don't think it's the same center bug from Urbie...this is something else. Trying to center doesn't cause it, but trying to center can resolve it temporarily.

Iv never used auto centre and so never encountered this issue, I don't think I'll need it for urbie either.

Auto center doesn't cause it. I started out a match where it happened in the first few steps out the block. I think it's connected to the mech's torso twist...mouse movement plus some other unknown variable sets it off.

Still got the centering problem, ran the repair tool and that helped, still noticeable in a few games mainly with HBK GI

I've never bothered with the "F" or "C" keys, I just centre with mouse. Does "F" or "C" really save you that much time ?
