I always go for sidetorsos of CTF. They already died like flies.

If I remember correctly, the CTF's had their CT hitbox narrowed by a very small margin.
I was playing mine earlier today with STD builds and never had any troubles with getting a torso clipped any more than usual, CT armor was still the first to go.
I think thats just me though, I tend to facetank way too much.
But there is just that magic speed with just about any mech, go too slow and you're a CT magnet, go too fast and its side Torso and arms getting the damage, and depends on the mech of course people will usually target the places that will hurt you most.
Try some builds that settle right around 73-75 kph, and it will be a CT magnet.

He said it on twitter, chill out dude.... seriously.
Could have made the CT shorter without touching the STs so it doesn't "de facto" mean anything. Again, chill out and stop the raging.
I tweeted that video to him, maybe he is not on the same page with whoever made the change. Anyway, I hope they can sort it out. A viable CTF either has an AC 20 in its RT, or an XL. Either way means RT is my primary target, with a hitbox that big that is going to be super easy to hit.
Its like he has never had a CTF-3D, huh?
You're an idiot.

so don't play it? still failing to see the problem. you'll die slower than you did previously, even if you're losing sides slightly faster. like i said, change your twist pattern a bit, and probably make sure you aren't running XL. XL was already dodgy on the Phract and i'd say its def a no go now.
THE PROBLEM IS IT WAS A NERF. Unintended or not, a mech that is already not that amazing just got nerfed, and IS mechs deserve the same amount of whining and screaming as when clan mechs are nerfed 2%, or pgi proposes a clan engine nerf.

I'm glad others here are aware that the CTF was just majorly nerfed.
I'm not quite sure why people aren't more up in arms about this in the community.
I guess it's because everyone has already stopped using CTFs a long time ago and no-one really cares about the chassis anymore...
Which is sad, because the CTF-IM was my favorite IS mech, and now it's just utter garbage.
