Whose fault is that? You brought this upon yourselves.

Clan Wolf Sourcebook Pg.48

What is that old saying? He who digs a hole for another, may fall in himself.............................

Clan Wolf Sourcebook Pg.48

and speaking of

Battle of Tukayyid Pg.8

You wanted to go first, you got it. Do not cry about how it turned out now.

As for you...our clan was impetuous, yes, and then defeated, true as well. Did we pay for it, yes we did. But do not try to pass off Clan Wolf as some high and noble clan that had all the answers. In my eyes clan wolf is just another faction of the Inner Sphere.

Also just so you know Garth...I had a Freudian slip while typing this and instead of typing clan wolf I typed clan wolver...and then I was like *shakes angry fist is Garth's general direction*

Yeah when you have this there is a high probability of success.

But I will say that plot armored factions do take their lumps in battletech more than any other series I have ever known.

Man, if it's this easy to divide Clanners in their own forum, it's going to be easy to kick ya'll back out of the Inner Sphere ;)

High & noble hmmmmmmmm........... Chosen by the Founder to carry on his legacy. Check.
Had all the answers hmmmmmm............ Advanced faster than the other Clans in the invasion. Check
Captured more worlds than the other clans. Check.
Captured a planet with no combat using ONE warrior. Check.
Made the Precentor-Martial hug his teddy-bear at night. Check
Won their engagement on Tukayyid. Check.

That is a big AFFIRMATIVE.

Your time will come, In the spring of 3071 the Ice Hellions attempted a major foray into the Inner Sphere, attacking the coreward end of the Jade Falcon OZ with almost their entire touman. Know both as Operation "Ice Storm" and (to the Falcons) the 'Hellion Tantrum', fighting was fierce, with the Hells Horses entering the conflict on the side of the Falcons during the latter half of the war to turn the tide finally against the Hellions. The Ice Hellions were shattered, withdrawing with only 3 Clusters of Beta Galaxy remaining of their invasion force. Subsequently they are known to have been active in the Deep Periphery, launching piratical resource raids upon the Ghost Bear Dominion.

The shattered remnants of the Ice Hellions were voluntarily absorbed by the Goliath Scorpions shortly afterwards. The Scorps were Abjured towards the end of the Wars Of Reaving due to their experimenting with genes from the absorbed Eridani Light Horse warriors from the SLDF and eventually merged with the deep periphery realms around Nueva Castille to form the Imperio Del Escorpio.

Last word on the Hellion and the Jaguars that I saw (outside of the Fidelis stuff from MW:DA) was that the last surviving partial Galaxy of Hellions stumbled onto a Smoke Jaguar Potemkin that was hiding out in the Periphery.

My hope is that they start heading counter-clockwise around the sphere, and set up shop replacing the shattered remains of the Circinan Military. It all fits, the Circinans had two military "arms" The McIntyre House Guards who tended towards heavy and assault mechs, and brutal tactics against anyone who stood against them. And thew Black Warriors, who tend towards highly mobile lights and mediums with an eye towards raiding and piratical strikes.

Sounds like a Jaguar/Hellion hybrid to me. ;)

After the Hellions were absorbed by the Scorpions. Two clusters went mission. One became mercenaries, the other likely merged with a pirate unit. The Galaxy Commander on Huntress (Russou Howel?) during the attack by TF Serpent apparently managed to escape and went on to raid other clans until we was killed a couple decades later.

Aftyer 3071, the community writes its own fiction.

The majority of the Clansmen do NOT subscribe to the Jihasd/Wix Kidz fiction.

We write our own.

This baiting is inconsequential and anybody who persists in arguing PAST 3071 is a fool and sociopath.

Dark Ages story lines are total BS promulgated by a literary faction bent on not having to deal with the Clans.

We are here and we write our own fiction after 3071.

**** off if you think otherwise.

However, if MW Online is to exist as a broad multiplayer game, it needs to incorporate the Clans despite the DA/Jihad pseudo-fiction.

If you run against a group of mercs who will easily kick your @$$, it's probably populated by Clansmen.

only reason the clans lost was due to their wagering down the amount of men and mechs it would take to complete their objectives. It gave the inner sphere a chance to fight back... o well... honor and pride and what not.

Respect to the clan wolf and their spider unit that focused on lasers weapons and missile backing that allowed them to win when their supply lines were cut off. (take a hint here for future war)
Respect to Ghost bears for doing it right the first time and taking it slow.
Respect to nova cat in the future for realizing that the command "return to the inner sphere" may not have meant take over the inner sphere. but shame on them for helping to destroy clan jaguar due to a trick from the inner sphere.

Shame on the smoke jaguar for not following military procedure and falling back to rearm and supply and pushing forward.

o and good job clan coyote for making omni-technology we all love you though no one admits to it.

Since they are going by the canon, it will be the original invading Clans: Jade Falcon, Wolf, Ghost Bear & Smoke Jaguar. Later on, again according to canon, the Steel VIpers, Nova Cats & Diamond Sharks will be activated.

Well MW4:Mercs is still around after everything that has happened, so I would not rule out that possibility.
