New Mechlab is nearing completion - but it will need to spend more time than the usual feature in test to ensure it works properly.

I wonder if we'll be able to click an 'owned' filter on the modules/cockpit screen.

The one we have barely is, so it's not that high a bar to pass to be better...

However, those comments come mainly from the podcasts that PGI are on, so I understand if it isn't well known.

The way this company disseminates information never ceases to amaze me. Podcasts, individual twitter accounts, Reddit, Facebook.
Anything but their own website.

We collectively beg you to throw this into the public test client and let us tear at it to provide feedback. There is no sense in creating a whole new UI interface without testing it in front of thousands of players.
We can help you.
We want to help you.
Please let us. Learn from the mistakes of UI 2.0. Don't rush this, get it right. Do it right.

We'll break that **** in 10 minutes.
Though to be fair, theyre probably not at a place where they can put it up on the test server yet. Theres probably missing text, labels, graphics, windows that arent sized right. When its presentable, then put it on the test server and let us break it.

That maybe very well true even despite doing a good job at PGI-internal testing.
It's simply a number's game.
1 or 5 or whatever QA guys can't possible cover all the different special cases and usage habits that X thousand players cover in parallel in a matter of hours.

News doesn't excite me.
I kinda wish they'd just open up the MechLab and the ingame UI to the modding community.

PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!
I'd like to see this actually tested by players and not just PGI internally... just the bugs added can only make the pain of UI 2.0 increase...
