Back in the days of repair and rearm, before UI2.0, you used to have to repair your mech between battles. There was a prompt for it.

Sometimes, being in Australia, it could take a LONG time for the prompt to work. You'd repair, hit launch, and the client would tell you that you couldn't launch until you'd repaired. You'd repair again. Launch again.

I'd got my muscle memory in for it, and could fire off that prompt at ludicrous speed. It did nothing, but was cathartic, like pressing the walk button at traffic lights a bajillion times.

Turns out the prompt to sell your mechs was very close to the launch button. In a fit of mad clicking, I accidentally sold the hideously expensive Awesome 9M with the hideously expensive XL380 i'd been grinding forever for, back when earning was hard as balls because I SUCKED, AND DROVE AN AWESOME.

My most recent blunder was struggling with ammo counts in the king crabs (when new)
Tweaked and twisted, shuffled and organized, planned and plotted , came up with a fantastic build that solved all my issues with the mech, armed with a powerful smurphies play by play i built the mech
Mmm not enough ammo still wow these ac20's are hungry
Oh well tweak it more back and forth between the labs
Shed more weight take more ammo
Starting to feel better but cannot understand why i dont have half my equipment
After about a week of trying to solve why i dont have as much ammo or bits as i should, i finally figured out i accidentally put ac2 ammo instead of ac20

I am always careful with mech lab and doublecheck things, my greatest mistake was slapping an Srm6 on my Raven and them playing a match. The fail? I forgot i had Srm6. Totally. Only realised it, when i was back in the lab.

Buying and outfitting LRM modules (Advanced Target Decay, Extended Range, LRM Cooldown/Range, etc...) on a Catapult C4 that had SRM6's.

Carrying a 3 tonne command console in the head of my D-DC for two months, back when it didn't do anything. I forgot it was there.

Recently I've dropped in the wrong mech a couple of times and not even noticed. It's a bit of a shock when you close with the enemy and try to fire the 2 AC10s on your CTF, only to see 3 PPCs come out and realise you're in an AWS-8Q.

i won some consumables in an event. i wanted to use the ones i had but not buy anymore. but i checked the autorefill box thinking it would warn me before eating my mc. nope, i think it ate a couple bucks worth before i caught it.

I equipped one of the MC modules that I got from an event, but left the auto-refill box checked. >_<
I think I used 5 of them before I realized it.

Regualr AC/5 ammo on my UAC Ilya... Whole match only had two med lasers

was testing the dps of a Uac5, was doing that by puting 1 uac5 on a KGC000 a XL255 and as much ammo as it can carry.
next day started a CW match... the KGC is in my drop deck..

Accidentally bought camo unlocks instead of oneshots, it's crazy how not worth it unlocks are.

Previously stripped armour, forgot to put it on when building and dropping with 0 armour. (it was surprisingly fun though)

I think the worst was putting SHS on a mech that came stock with DHS and hitting save.
