Back when you could buy and save an invalid load out, just not launch with it. C-bill didn't rain from the sky even with a Founder's 'Mech, I bought an 300XL for my CN9-A... There was no CN9-D, we still had the AH and my heavies already had the XLs I wanted in them. So glad I was not on teamspeak when I did so.

More recently I found a build I really liked with ENF-5P that used a gauss rifle as the main gun. I kept trying to figure out why I was running out of ammo so quickly all the time... I had forgotten to add that third ton of ammo and had dropped in a 49 ton 'Mech for the last 10 games.
