There are some things I'd change that some won't like, but at this point anything is better than what they've been doing.
Those things are harder to get working properly than you might think. I've been running a game server for probably a couple years now and there's alway some random thing or another going wrong with them. I've had the ping to my server get horrible when some ISP decided to reroute something-or-other to some hub waaaay out of the way, for instance.

Was referring to the Server Authorative architecture on the server side. Changing weapon settings clientside will do nothing, but changing weapon settings there on PGI/Server-side as well as how certain equipment works (namely ECM) would go a long way toward game balance. Just three hours isn't really enough time, but I could get through most of the weapon setting changes in that time with a little bit of time to make sure nothing went wrong.

Sure you can inflate hardpoints, maybe up to 6 or 7 and spread them, here and there a quirk or so, maybe even a JJ variant. But then?
Isn't there a little missile boat available? something in the lines of an oxide? this would at least bring some variety into the light class.
Javelin.
Missiles on most of them, an ECM variant available, and there's a laser boat variant also in the timeline.

This game needs persistence -- more than just pugs and fights... there needs to be more continuity to this game.

Besides the Black Knight, this could be a good pack. I don't really have a suggestion for a more interesting Black Knight replacement, though. Most IS heavy mechs we don't have yet are either much later or don't have intriguing variations at all.

King Crab is out. CRAB is not! Think IS Stormcrow prime. High end of the medium spectrum (well, 50 tons anyways), laserboat. Reasonably quick on its feet.
